| The UN is a worthless organization that has failed to produce any tangible, sustainable, or significant results in the area of nation relations. Nuclear weapons have done more to deter war between nations than any meeting at the UN. Fuck the UN. |

+25 Internets | Like anybody could ever win a war on terror. You'd have as much luck winning a war on any human vice. The War on Violence, The War on Hate, The War on Chocolate. Yeah, good luck with that. |

+24 Internets | I love watching the echo chamber of retardation at work. White House: We are no longer using the term war on terror because that is retarded. We are at war with al Qaeda not a tactic of theirs. "Press": War on terror is over! Retard: Washington politics has made us lose the war on terror! Find a snarky picture of Obama and I'm sure you can get this on the top of Drudge in no time guys. |

+19 Internets | We shouldn't be waging wars on concepts, tactics or products at all. War is not the appropriate metaphor, but we apply it to any struggle we find ourselves in. Obesity is a health epidemic, it's not a war. |

| Republicans are in the process of signing their Southern Strategy against Hispanics right now with their votes against the Sotomayor confirmation. History will see this as the day the Democrats achieve 95% of the Hispanic vote. All the "no" votes are from Southern Republican Senators and of course the Utah Senators. History is being made, Bitches. Last edited by I'm Rich Bitch; 08-06-2009 at 01:10 PM.. |

Funny that Mel Martinez (R-FL, Hispanic) voted "Yes" to Sotomayor and the Southern coalition of Republicans did not. Their only criteria was that she was Hispanic. It had nothing to do with her ideology, views, or her understanding of the Constitution. Ultimately, Republicans only base their votes on race, nothing else. That is why their Southern Strategy was so valuable and is now biting them in the ass. They just doubled down on their strategy. Fox News just called her "Jenny from the Block". A fucking Supreme Court Justice, "Jenny from the Block". What the fuck is that? Last edited by I'm Rich Bitch; 08-06-2009 at 01:34 PM.. | |

| Keep telling yourself that they only voted "no" based on race. I mean it could obviously never be that she makes unconstitutional rulings or that she is anti-second amendment. It would be ludicrous to claim those southern Republicans represent citizens who support the second amendment. They MUST be voting just because she is latin. There is just no other way. Honestly, I can not stand the hispanics that vote for her just because she is hispanic. That is racism at its finest. We do not need a wise latina judge. We need a wise judge, regardless of race. Unfortunately we will be stuck with a crappy unjust judge because Obama wants diversity. That is the bottom line, Mr. Bitch.

Harriet Miers and Clarence Thomas? All 2 of them? I HOPE youre kidding. Miers never went to a vote and Thomas was accused of serious misconduct. Nominations were pretty much cakewalks til Bork and after Bork the only minority republican Supreme Court nominees were Thomas and Miers. And if you want to go back to BEFORE Bork - Oconnor was confirmed 99-0.
