Come on now, many a guy has ended up banging something on the side just because the wife is constantly accusing them of doing so and they figured they might as well then. Perhaps not behind the salad bar but hey, that would be a nice touch.

Nothing.. nada.. We have zero leverage, they know it, and we have no fucking desire to do anything on a miltary level. It is not our place.

China cares only about keeping NK stable enough that it doesnt become an Asian Somalia where they have to deal with refugees and an out of control humanitarian crisis. To that end, they will prop up and go along with the tyannical regime, because at least it is keeping order.

You want to do sanctions? What the fuck for? You think anyone in the ruling elite is going to go hungry for one night? They could give a flying fuck about their own people, and the people have been so abused, brainwashed, beaten down and terrorized that they will never rise up. KJI has shown long ago that he will starve his own people to death, let humanitarian assistance come in, then give it to the army.

As for NK, they're going to keep working until they have a nice functional medium range nuke. Maybe not intercontinental, but still enough to cause shit with the south, or Japan, or someone else. N. Korea releases details of U.S. journalists' arrests

Sounds like they have video of them crossing a frozen river into North Korea that they made themselves, even showing one of them picking up a rock as a souvenir. If the video is authentic and wasn't made after they were caught, that's pretty fucking stupid on the reporters parts. Obviously they don't deserve what amounts to a death sentence in a labor camp, but seriously why poke your finger in their eye like that?
