I am just in this thread to tell you that you should NEVER put a sticker on your car that says "baby on board"!

Same, on my second she was induced and took roughly 28 hours. First one though was 54 hours. Mine are 13 and 9, and finally getting to the age were I don't have to go easy on them in video games. The 13yo has done cello for a couple years now and owns me at GH.

My son is 2.5 years (Elijah Thomas), and daughter (Elizabeth Lynn) will be born in end of June, early July. Going through the pains of potty training #1 now. Parenthood can be fun. Funny thing is, I swore I wouldn't do that stupid name all kids with same first letter, but Elizabeth was the only name we ended up being able to settle on.
My first son took 31 hours, and he never came out.. the ended up having to do a c-section. Damn bowling ball for a head on that kid. Second one was premature and came out, but he was only 4lbs.

Birth is fun but it's just a prelude for the fun you're going to have later. Get all those things you need free time for out of the way now, people.

Fuuuuck, nice stealth subject edit. My wife hasn't stopped calling it a "babby" since she found out.

I am afraid this kid is gonna have the permanent nickname of "The Babby".

Ok, I am going to post here even though I don`t have a kid and sure as fuck don`t want one any time soon. Hope I don`t get jinxed for writing in this thread with an unwanted addition to my family...

I just wanted to say I am in the final stages of becoming a teacher and looking through these names, I realize that all these kids and these names will be in my classes. I can`t pronouce half the names in this thread, sure hope names like these are not the trend, or my classes will be filled with names that I can hardly pronounce or let alone spell.

And gratz to all the current and future parents, you`re taking one for the team because I still have not decided if I want to go down that road.

Hey if you're going to be a teacher, maybe you should brush up on some of your basic skills. You know, like reading and pronouncing words.

Since there's not a single god-damn name in this thread that is hard to read, say, or pronounce, I'm gonna assume you're a troll.

Not being a troll at all. I would say some of the names in the first page are quite different in that I have never in my life seen them. And, before you nerd rage, I think we all know that by reading a name you cannot automatically know how to pronounce it. Every parent has some quirk and wants a name to sound cool, this is what I was getting at. Obviously I can read and pronounce a name the same as you.

WTF is babby.

You should name your kid something interesting, like Seven, before Costanza gets it. Or Aracely, it means altar to the sky gods.

Watch the Joe Wong thing on Letterman in the video thread today (post below).

http://www.fohguild.org/forums/scree...ml#post1375501

"Now I have a sign on my car that says Baby on Board. This sign is basically a threat. It just says I have a screaming baby and nagging wife, and I'm not afraid of dying anymore."

Aww, I love this thread. I want a baby.

I usually love really nerdy names. Sebastian, Preston, Quentin, Finnegan are some of my favorite boy names. I haven't really though of girl names, there aren't any I really love. I usually like andro names like Bobby, Avery, Adrian, Devin, Hunter, Peyton, Ryan, and Skylar.
