| Since when did everyone on this board become goody fucking two shoes Mcgruff the crime stopper trying to stop ever minor crime from being committed? I applaud trying to scam your way into a club/party. Fuck paying 15 god damn dollars to get in and then $7.50 for a fucking jack and coke that's watered down anyways. Wish I had a friend that worked at a wristband factory, I'd go out a lot more often. I'd steal the drinks too if I could. |

| If the cops caught them doing illegal shit, throw the book at 'em, I don't care - it's what the justice system is for. But they didn't. The cops themselves committed crimes. Some of you are just like "well that's how cops work, deal!" and I really don't understand this. Yes this is how some cops work, but the more they get away with it and have no repercussions the more they will do it. That increases the chance of it happening to you, you simpletons. |

| Well just spent an hour on the phone with internal affairs who had me give him descriptions of the officers and is going to investigate the matter. He said I can give a statement over the phone, or I can go to Miami and file a sworn formal complaint which they can take farther.

| UPDATE: Got a call back from internal affairs today and they figured out exactly who the officers were and talked to them informally about the incident. They admitted to taking the wristbands and according to them they gave them to the club which the guy I spoke to said was a violation of procedure. He said I should expect a call back within the next 2 weeks where they will setup an appointment for me to go down there and give a sworn statement. Then each officer is told they are officially being investigated by Internal Affairs and they each get a lawyer that goes with them when they get questioned. He said no matter what they will have this on their record for 50 years so even if nothing comes of this, it's on their record and if an officers gets multiples complaints along the same lines they might set up a sting operation against that officer. What it is going to come down to is whether or not one officer admits that the tickets were present and/or taken. If they all deny taking them he said there isn't much they can do. In any case, it's back to the waiting game.

| We can prove that we had the tickets but that doesn't prove that they took them. It wouldn't matter at all unless they tried to claim the tickets were counterfeit in which case I could prove that they weren't. As I said earlier, all of it is going to come down to whether or not one of the officers admits that the tickets were taken. If all four officers deny it, there isn't much they can do. We say they took them, they say they didn't and there is no way to prove it either way.
