Rarely would I consider admitting being an idiot/oblivious on these boards, and I'm going to get many a facepalm for sharing, but I feel the need to tell you all about the last 10 minutes.

-vaguely perused the thread when it was made, not really caring one way or the other.
-confident that I am uncut.
-I don't come back to the thread until today, curious that it had gotten to 5 pages.
-Reading through, I'm surprised at the popularity of being circumcised.
-Was pretty sure that circumcision was a Jewish tradition >.>
-Getting concerned, I drop my pants and inspect my penis... could that vague reddish line actually be a scar?
-A quick google search for a side-by-side comparison and my eyes widen as I witness, for the first time in my life, an uncircumcised penis. Quite unlike my own.

Being 22, it seems odd to me that I would remain oblivious to such a thing until I figured it out on a goddamn video game forum. I'm not sure how I feel about this, although I will immediately admit that the puckered flytrap I witnessed today is something that I consider myself fortunate enough to have avoided.

On the other hand however, had I not been circumcised, I can't imagine I would willingly do so as an adult.

On the subject of ass-hair. Try simply trimming it(beard/sideburns electrical trimmer type thing) instead of shaving. It removes any nastiness but avoids the burn.

I actually had a very similar experience when I was 19. I had no idea it was also a catholic tradition. I certainly ain't no jew, and yet, here we are.

Kind of a funny thing, that. I felt kinda pissed about it for a little while, then also felt relieved that I escaped the elephant man dick. If no one tells you that you are, and you don't have a foreskin, how do you know you don't? What is a foreskin? Why would you ever think about it? All the dudes in porn don't seem to have anything different going on. I guess it's not something that I ever gave any thought to, and then one day, outta the blue, when I'm a grown man and already moved out, it dawns on me. Definitely an experience, that's for sure.

A lot of this strikes me as QQing from overly protective parents thinking that circumcision will hurt and traumatize their baby. Get over it. The kid will not remember the shock of coming out of your disgusting vagoo as you push, and everything gets pushed out (yes everything in that perianal region, use your imagination!), he will not remember his umbilical cord being cut, and he will not remember the circumcision. Just get it done, it's a bit cleaner and reduces his chance of getting certain STDs and penile cancer.

Look I trim the grass around the tree, no problem there. But Ass hair? Seriously?

How the fuck do you shave your ass, maybe I'm getting a bit old and thus the logistics of positioning your self in such a way as to be able to do this completely boggles my mind. I picture an act of near self fellating to be able to pull this off and am presented with an image that cannot be unseen.

Manscaping has it's lines and as far as I am concerned that line ends at your taint, razors are a delicate matter in that area as is, you really don't need to be blindly swiping sharp metal around your asshole.

If you're circumcised, and you've never seen an uncircumcised penis, how are you supposed to know? Like Cutlery said... what the fuck is foreskin if you've never had/seen it? I thought it was the outer rim of the head itself, not the poncho covering it. Does that make sense in any type of surgical sense? Not really, but again, never really paid much attention to the subject.

Well, lets back this up a bit. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess the only thing that most kids might have to compare theirs to is their dad's. And if you're circumcised, good chance your father is too.

Now, we get into say the pre-teen era, you learn that circumcision is a jewish tradition. Typically, this is what most people associate it with. Are you jewish? If not, no reason to think you're circumcised.

Get into the teen era, and the last thing you want to do is start asking your buddies about what their dicks look like. Don't wanna be labeled a fag, so who the fuck really thinks about it? Not too many people, i'd guess.

Then you start looking at porn, and basically all you see is either erect penises, which look pretty much the same, and it seems the porn industry is pretty heavy on the circumcision as well. A dildo? What the fuck? When the fuck have you ever seen an uncircumcised dildo?

The point is, that most boys, unless they have a reason to be talking about the subject (Which they don't), would never really have a reason to see a flacid, uncircumcised penis. And if you haven't done that, how the fuck would you ever know? Your dick looks like everyone else's, there's nothing to even think about, and you'd never give it more than half a second of thought.
