What I find interesting is the Czech news agency that reported on this mentioned Baxter was trying to create an outbreak because they recently developed a cure for the Avian strain and wanted to use this as a way to make money.

Let's accept the premise that Baxter wants to infect the world with avian flu to make money off the cure. They would have to be giant retards to do it this way. First of all, everything points back to them. They wouldn't be collecting their money from jail, if they were still alive. If we do get a pandemic, there will be people looking for how it got started.

On top of that, when you mix viruses together like that, you can't be sure what it is going to make (if it even makes a new virus.) You can't be sure your cure works for a strain that doesn't yet exist.

There would be much, much better ways to this.

Just so were all clear here. This virus has a BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) attached to it. Basically this means that no human hands ever come in contact with any of this material ever. It is all handled by robots in sealed chambers because of the high level of danger. These labs are generally deep underground in hardened bunkers with extremely high security.

There was obvious labels on them, stating that microbiology related products were in them, so they better not go full retard when they would proceed to do analysis/research/etc with it.
