When Beck calls Democrats Communists, a Democrat needs to call Beck a Fascist. The Democrats need to put in a resolution to refer to the Republican Party as the US Fascist Party. Not only will you make a lot of money and/or campaign contributions using that technique, it will damage the Republicans. Being over the top works. Just look at Glenn Beck's ratings. | |

| Moral high ground and good intentions are wonderful things, they just have a shitty track record of actually getting shit done. Of course the repercussions could lead toward a downward spiral that we cant recover from, the entire situation sucks, Thank you republicans. Last edited by BurnemWizfyre; 10-01-2009 at 11:26 AM.. |

| Oh trust me i see it, i am also fully aware of the consequences it could have. The problem is Republicans aren't trying to do anything but fuck with democrats since the election, This country needs health care and the Republicans are doing fuck all to see that happens. Thats why i blame the republicans. For the record, i am not a Democrat or a Republican. I lean more towards Republican then i do Democrat, but i absolutely hate what Republicans are doing and where they are going. |

| Man who gives a fuck how enlightened the political discourse is? Do you any of you actually believe these shit flinging monkeys in Washington have any interest in real reform? Even if you do, do you actually think they are going to get anything worthwhile done? Of course not, when's the last fucking time that happened? Moral high ground is nice and all but it only makes you feel warm and fuzzy. It doesn't get shit done and when your opponent refuses to get out of the mud(AND IT'S ACTUALLY FUCKING WORKING) how long are you going to stand on the side pleading with them to get out of the slop while more and more people just gobble up the shit he's throwing? I say fuck that. Jump right god damn in there, knock that motherfucker out, and drown him in his own shit. The discourse in this country is totally fucked and it's never going to get any better. I don't know how so many of you can hold onto to this dream of meaningful conversations and reform. This is it folks. Either jump in the mud and have some fun or spend the rest of your life crying on the sidelines about what could be.

+64 Internets | Well, the question is, how do we go about enlightening people and making them aware? Any approach the Democrats have done has not really worked, including the President himself trying to squash the lies and rumors. Everything now just seems like you have to be some sort of TV ratings spectacle to get proper information out. I feel he should of stated during Wolf Blitzer's interrogation, well obviously they aren't literally wanting people to die, but it sure feels like it, while the Republicans sit on their thumbs and do nothing except kick sand and throw rocks. Other than that, I was fine with what he said. I'm sure that's what he feels and his intention, as opposed to certain people who were spouting the Death Panels were actually in full belief of them.

| People believe what they want. There is NOTHING you can do to "enlighten" 90% of people and the people you could have already researched and enlightened themselves.
