Stuff White People like is totally stuff white Obama supporters would like, by and large. Glen Beck is more a spokesman for the "wrong kind of white people".

Which makes a good point in a way. That list is very much white cultural, but when you say "white culture" many people might think of a different kind of culture entirely.

It absolutely was a gotcha question. The answer wasn't going to be pretty no matter how he phrased it. White culture is simply too broad of a topic for Beck to ever explain correctly. And even if he managed to explain it adequately, he doesn't garner enough respect from the left. It gets into that argument about how we can have organizations specifically to advance the causes of people of any given ethnicity unless that ethnicity is caucasian.

And he said those things in front of a national audience and with the intention of doing so. Haus it the nail on the head... dunno if you got the memo. It was a gotcha question, period. Saying the president is a racist is one thing and stims from Obama growing up listening to radical crap spewed by Wright. On the other hand, defining white culture is considered taboo. Couric was baiting Beck to define a topic that joins whites together, despite all social context dismantling anything white. If Beck had attempted to answer, you better believe it would have been suicide. Defining white culture doesn't get the pass we give black, latino, asian, female, gay culture.

It was a political croon. It was meant to tug on the strings of whites who have dealt with reverse discrimination long enough. Do not mistake that last statement. I do not believe Beck can even cliff note a proper summary of white culture. He is not the champion I would stand behind.

And you also don't get to unzip your brain and just give a pass. Why should Beck need to define white culture in the first place? Why should that statement even be under the microscope? According to Obama, there is a "typical white woman." So if there are "typical whites," wouldn't that be part of a white culture?

You see, the problem is that the left is focused in on the wrong person. Wouldn't the fair thing to do is ask Obama what white culture is? Obama got a pass in his sidestep of the "typical white women" remark. He did not define the "typical white" anything. He was not required to do so by the left thinkers. Why? Because they subscribe the the same bullshit that is indoctrinated throughout the education system, family values and TV oriented social trending.

Again, do not mistake this a defending Beck. The guy is a jester. However, why does Obama not have to explain to the American People what a "typical white" is?

So I'm selfish because I don't want to pay a debt I had no hand in? I'm selfish because I was provided less opportunity growing up, simply because I'm white and as such must repay a debt I did not sign off on? How much longer will whites have to pay for the ignorance of the dead.

It is no disrespect to History to deny any hand in the civil rights violations of the past; I was not even alive. I fully honor the struggles and victories the civil rights movement has made.

I didn't grow up rich. My parents had to rob peter to pay paul. Bills were on a rotation and didn't always get paid. They didn't own a house, car for most of my childhood. Poverty and struggle is color blind. Yeah, my arguement is disrespectful isn't it. I wish Dr. King were alive to see the mockery that has been made of his "Dream." He would be appauled to see the politics surrounding racism today.

I'd like to think women's and gay rights movements are only around because in many cases they just want to acquire the same legal guarantees and claims as said "white" men. They arn't asking for anything that supposedly white men don't already have. What would be the point, as any legislation for protecting the rights of white men would in fact be serving the populous as a whole since that is the "gold standard". I too find it silly to have a black billionaire's club, and in fact do find that to be racist.

I don't even know what white means. I'm predominately Irish, and the Irish weren't always considered white. So I'm white now but wouldn't be white if it was the 1800s? How much Indian blood makes me not white today? There is some hidden in there somewhere but it was something the family never discussed (unfashionable during the 30s you see) so I couldn't ever get a straight answer. Am I pure enough for the Aryan Nation? That's really the gold standard for racist white cunts so it would be helpful to know now. What about Jews? Most of them look pretty white.
