He's smart, you're right. I wish he *would* add some fuel to the fire. It might matter to folks like you and I that his statements are clear and supported with evidence, but most of his viewers aren't going to think that hard. They hear "white culture" and can't define it either, but they still have a gut instinct that they know what he's talking about and agree with him.

Beck's style of propaganda isn't scary because of what he says, but because of how easily his viewer-sponges soak it up.

When someone like Beck speaks of "white culture," it's pretty obvious what he is implying. Who knows whether he actually believes it or whether it's just for ratings, but it surely isn't something that just slipped out innocently.

It was a gotcha question that she would have had just as much trouble answering.

Turning questions like that back person asking them is fair game.

It wasn't a gotcha question. It was asking him to define his own words. She is not the one that originally said "white culture" so asking her to define it is asinine. If you think just saying back to her "Well can YOU define it?" is a valid debate tactic you must be learning how to debate from crazy chicks(my ex gf would do this shit) and 4 year olds.

The fact of the matter is that Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and all the other pundits are never called out for their bullshit to their faces in a format that forces them to take responsibility for their words. It one of the major problems of the News media in this country.
