I am becoming less and less impressed with McCain the more I hear her speak. Take away her mammoth titties and she'd be one more semi-retarded voice in the din of children who think their parentage gives them some kind of special insight into the profession of their fathers. I respect her for standing up to the onslaught that's hitting her from the far right. Plus, the occasional column of hers that I read seems to be pretty good. Maybe I'm just not seeing the bad ones linked, but I don't see how "retarded" could apply. No doubt, however, that we wouldn't hear of her at all if she weren't a McCain. Can't hold that against her, though... at least she seems to be doing something with the name.

Ultimately, Meghan McCain, like Michael Steele will understand the true nature of the Republican Party. It may take Obama's entire 8 years as President but soon they will both leave the Republican party and will give us the inside information why they left. The clock is ticking on their status as "Republicans". The same can be said for Peggy Noonan, Mike Murphy, and David Brooks. It will get much worse for the Republicans before it gets better as they are losing the few remaining critical thinkers in the party.

Racism is connected to the Republican Party like stink on shit. There is no way to separate one from the other no matter how much these so called RINOs try to make Republicans seem like a normal party.

Maybe retarded was a little harsh. I've never read her blog, I;m just going by her apperances on TV. She always seems to be the least informed on any given subject, on any appearance. It's like if you took away either her tits or her father, she wouldn't even get a seat up there next to Begala. But for some reason, that combination earns her a chair and demands that we all listen to her. I call bullshit.

Olberman is an entertainer. It's like someone is trying to copy the Daily Show but failing to get it.

DailyKOS has some good articles sometimes. Huffington is a good website and Ariana has some interesting opinions sometimes as well.

Think the Begala McCain thing was mentioned b/c they were both on Bill Maher together. And she did look like an idiot. But you could tell she was nervous as all hell.

At one point she mentioned she was tired of Dems harping on old shit, that it wasnt that bad. Begala said he couldnt let that slide and started to explain why he thought it was that bad, she cut him off with something like "Oh im sorry im just the young dumb blonde I dont know anything, Im not a smart political guru, but hey that was before my time" and Begala responded "well the 1700's were before my time but I know about the french revolution". Maher calmed it all down though, he treated her with kiddie gloves the whole time she was on and was really patronizing. I didnt like it.
