Sarah Palin is not going away anytime soon. This make her (Republican) star brighter.
Er she took the stimulus money barring some chump change I thought? Wouldn't surprise me if she claimed she didn't though. Barring any watergate level scandal brewing, this seems like another idiotic misstep. Whatever office she may run, for the narrative against her writes it self.

To illustrate to people who do not know follow the Right Wing fringe I give you exhibit A. Mark Levin is the third most dangerous right wing nut behind Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh. This fringe element of the US is convinced the media is aganst them and that Sarah Palin is the choice for the majority of Americans. They think Democrats are against Palin because they are scared of her. These are the media people that the nuts that shoot up churches and bomb federal buildings listen to. This Mark Levin guy is a best selling author of anti-Obama material. He sells more books than Dick Morris and Ann Coulter. This guy is completely insane but the Right Fringe listen to him.

Make no mistake. Sarah Palin will run for President in 2012 as Mark Levin promotes in the clip below. She will be promoted by free air time on Fox News and talk radio. After she loses in a landslide this fringe element will blame the media and ACORN as they did in 2008. This Right Wing Fringe is very real and very dangerous. They are convinced that the media and ACORN is the reason for the Democrat majority and Obama being President. They will rally around Palin as a media victim in droves.

There is a very troubling Republican underbelly that forming like a modern day KKK. If you get a chance listen to this Mark Levin guy to understand why Republicans shoot up churches and blow up buildings.

A quick reminder: Sarah Palin is the person Khorum, Astrocreep et al thought was an excellent choice for being one frail, elderly ex-POW's heartbeat away from being the President of the United States of America.

If you wackos think Sarah Palin has any shot of being the 2012 candidate, you are crazier than I thought. Conservatives won't support her after the last 8-9 months of democrat like crazy out of her. She's at the end of her 15 minutes of fame.

Think Pawlenty and Romney. Or Romney + Pawlenty.

You need to look around the interwebs at what True Republicans are saying about her. She is not only in play for 2012 but she will be doing fundraisers for every Conservative candidate for Congress in 2010. Palin's support within the Republican party is not only strong but increasing. Women see themselves in her and men want to run to her aid as a damsel in distress to battle the evil Liberal Mainstream Medea. For the next 3 years she will be constantly whining about he media and will grow even bigger.

That call Mitt Romney "Mittens" and a "Sell Out" because he created universal health care in Mass. Not only was Romney governor of a northern state but he is mormon. Those are too many negatives to win the Republican nomination. Plus, Romney is too smart to be a Republican. They say the Tim Pawlenty is too boring to be President much less win against Obama. Remember that Republicans do not like intelligence. They like people like Joe the Plumber.

Of course I am not talking about normal people here. I am talking about the most extreme districts in the country like the one for Saxby Chambliss where her appearance helped him win. Sarah Palin is a tea baggers dream (in more ways than one).

Palin prepping for a run for president?

Hey Retard: She is about to be indicted for embezzlement. Even Krauthammer is coming out against her. Like Nate at 538 said, she is now known as a quitter. She's done.

She needed to immediately exit the public spotlight after the presidential election and focus on filling her noodle with knowledge and foreign affairs and being the best governor she could be. That would leave her supporters wanting more while simultaneously taking heat off her and allowing the American people to forget some of the dumb shit she said and did.

Then bam, come out of nowhere for the 2012 election and you annihilate initial criticisms and attacks because you are 100% prepared and your opposition only vaguely remembers you as being a fertile moron. The media's narrative will be on your side and you've got a shot. Steal as much of Obama's '08 game plan as you can.

Staying in the public eye with garbage stories and bullshit is the worst course of action she could have taken. Go away, have a Rocky training montage, come back in 2011 with a few more years experience as governor and some extra achievements under your belt. Of course, that assumes she didn't have scandals on the back burner that would force her to step down but that situation fucks her either way.

The Fox Nation disagrees. Palin will be the Republican nominee for President in 2012. As we get closer and closer to 2012 the drumbeat of the echo chamber will get even louder for Palin to be President. Rush Limbaugh will devote thousands of hours to electing her. She is a victim of the media in their eyes. Example comments below but this is the overwhelming observation of real Republicans.

Bobby, AL, has stated my thoughts and feelings exactly. Sarah Palin is doing exactly the right thing. The liberals have succeeded in bringing down her popularity in her own state by constantly blasting her in the political arena and in her personal life. I do believe this decision to step down will save her state probably millions from the agenda that the libs have to destroy her in the form of ethics violations, past, present, and future. Sarah Palin also fights cleanly and honestly. The article in Vanity Fair was probably a wake-up call for her. What a perfect time to put oneself out there as she hopefully is going to do.
Her decision, her call, how typical. She is "repainting the canvas" as we speak. JEN

That is why the progressives (I can't say dems because many of them see the infiltration of socialism in their lives) are so scared of her. They know she is a true leader with the strength, atractiveness and guts to confront the evil empire infiltrated in our nation. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND HELP US KEEP OUR FREEDOM!!!

Nate Silver is a intelligent, reasonable Democrat. He has no idea what real Republicans are thinking. Krauthamer is an intellectual elite so he does not know what real Republicans are thinking. Republicans are not like normal people. That want the opposite of resonable people. Republicans are very dangerous.

You look at the very fringe and consider that to be the mainstream of the party. What does that say about you?

I understand enough about Republicans to know that this chick is done, with or without the indictments. With the "rumored" impending indictments, she is absolutely done.

And honestly, that's good for America, to get her the fuck off of the national stage so maybe the opposition can come up with a real candidate.

The entire Fox News organization, the Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, The Washington Times, the RNC chapter of every major state, every conservative blog and all of talk radio (including a $100 million/year host with 20 million daily listeners), Best Selling book authors (Levin, Coulter, O'Reilly, Beck, Morris, Corsi), national conservative organizations (NRO, Weekly Standard, Human Events, Townhall) and the religious Moral Majority are all "Fringe"?

Beck, Coulter, Limbaugh, those people are fringe. I hate to tell you bro, but there are a fuck ton of Republicans, a hell of a lot more than listen to any of those people. You think that the Republican establishment is going to get behind an embattled candidate who can't even finish one term as governor? And the nude pics haven't even surfaced yet.

To be fair, fox news doesn't own the 1-10 in nielson ratings for top watched cable news programs by being fringe.

for example:
Quote:
5PM – P2+ (25-54) (35-64)
Glenn Beck – 1,902,000 viewers (420,000) (890,000)
Situation Room—703,000 viewers (135,000) (244,000)
Hardball w/ Chris Matthews —530,000 viewers (117,000) (220,000)
Fast Money—230,000 viewers (76,000) (105,000)
Prime News—160,000 viewers (71,000) (76,000)
and

Quote:
P2+ Total Day
FNC – 1,231,000 viewers
CNN – 552,000 viewers
MSNBC –372,000 viewers
CNBC – 233,000 viewers
HLN – 307,000 viewers

P2+ Prime Time
FNC – 2,699,000 viewers
CNN—824,000 viewers
MSNBC –947,000 viewers
CNBC – 241,000 viewers
HLN – 578,000 viewers
Almost more people watch fox news than all the other main media channels..combined.

I'd argue that's exactly how Fox gets those numbers. They're tuning in to see Glenn Beck pretend to douse people in gasoline and shit like that. They're become more and mroe extreme since their inception, and now they've just given up any pretense that they're a real news agency, blatantly giving exclusive support to the Republican party.

The typical Republican does not listen to Rush, does not watch Glenn Beck, and will not vote for Palin. Hell, there were a lot of "typical" Republicans who voted for Obama.

He seems so sure though, that everyone is just going to line up behind this person who quit her job because people were mean to her. I know there are a lot of stupid people, but holy shit, there aren't that many.
