So... you're proud to give yourself a label that implies that you do not think for yourself under any circumstances?

Today's Gallup Daily:

Gallup Daily

Quote:
Since Tuesday, McCain's support among traditional likely voters has dropped by four points (from 47% to 43%), Obama's has risen by two points (from 49% to 51%), and the percentage of undecided voters has increased from 4% to 6%.

Thursday night's interviews are the first conducted entirely after Obama's widely viewed 30-minute prime-time campaign ad, which ran on several television networks Wednesday evening. Obama held a substantial lead over McCain in last night's polling, however no greater than what Gallup found on Wednesday.

Obama's lead among expanded likely voters is only slightly greater than that seen among traditional likely voters. He now leads McCain by nine-points, 52% to 43%, using this looser definition that does not factor in whether respondents have voted in past elections, but strictly relies on their reported level of interest and intention to vote in the 2008 election.

Quote:
Obama's current 11-point lead over McCain among all registered voters -- 52% to 41% -- is up from an eight-point lead in yesterday's report, and ties his highest advantage on this basis, last recorded 10 days ago. (To view the complete trend since March 7, 2008, click here.)

Quote:
Obama's favorable position among traditional likely voters in the latest polling is partially reflective of his strong position among all registered voters. However, at other times when Obama has led McCain by 11-points among registered voters, his likely voter advantage has been lower than it is now, in the five- to seven-point range. Thus, Obama's improved likely voter standing also reflects a higher turnout propensity for his supporters than what Gallup has seen at earlier times this month. This could stem from the superiority his well-funded campaign appears to have over the McCain campaign in contacting his supporters to get out and vote. -- Lydia Saad

Honest question. What exactly is it you like about his show? I know some pretty hardcore conservatives and even they think he's a blowhard.

Its a funny and frank alternative to the media drivel. He likes to point out the hypocrisy from the left and remind us what it means to be a conservative. example, Rush often will play clips from many media pundits and news sources that repeat the exact same words in regards to a story to point out their collusion. Its not a completely serious show, its very funny and he has comedy skits as well. been a listener for 16 years.

The part where he mocks people with chronic illness, and then gets off the air and goes on 16 hour oxycotin benders.

The very fact you label yourself a dittohead (a word meaning you just agree with someone else's opinion without challenging it or thinking for yourself) is just sad. Be sure there's a lot of conservatives who realize what a narrow-minded douchebag Limbaugh is. Mostly, they are people with an education (university, military, or even ecclesiastical) who have taken a long time and a lot of thought formulating their social and/or economic conservative principles and haven't had them fed to them by a man who has not served in our military, has never finished college, and who's Christian credentials are all but non-existent.

I don't mind watching/listening to people like OReiley or Olberman. They have a comical view of the other side.

Hannity and Rush are idiots though. They spew such drivel and hate speech whenever I hear them. Anyway, I'm assuming they're doing it for rating which I guess works for them. I exorcise my right to not listen to them. It all works out in the end.

Every time I am about to solidify my hate for O'Reilly, he says something I agree with. It's very frustrating .

As for the other two, though, I still think Hannity is the worst of the lot. He is absolutely ridiculous and it is past time for him to have a scandal of some sort.

And, another vote for a fiscally conservative, socially liberal party. Fuck the religious right.

I just want to say that it is not humanly possible that there is a more irritating news anchor in existence than David Schuster. What a tool.

Their collusion? It's not a sign of a conspiracy, rather they use talking points that stick from campaign surrogates. Both sides have a ton of talking points, so the people who go on news shows for them have something to talk about and stay on message. It gets funny when the surrogate doesn't understand the talking point, like the McCain guy who didn't know who Chamberlain was or what appeasement meant.

I like Morning Joe on MSNBC, I watch it almost every morning. Scarsborough can say some stupid shit sometimes like the "Intellectual elite" comment in that video a few pages ago. Just because a bunch of New Yorks just keep walking and don't stop to chat with him makes them elitist. Fuck that. Most New Yorkers won't give you the time of day regardless.

However he makes good points most of the time and the guests he has actually make a pretty good argument for whatever their talking about. On the other hand Fox and Friends is a complete waste of TV Time. I do like Sheppard Smith and Wallace of FOX News though.

My favorite News program is Anderson 360 though. Main reason is because I have a huge crush for Erica Hill.
