Again.. with the advertising money spent for a 2 minute advertisement (that is around many cable channels that I've seen it on), it would be better spent making NO ads and instead, just donating the money spent toward saving the polar bears.

The amount of advertising was probably in the 5+ million range. So assuming just $5,000,000.. 312,500 people would have to donate $16 to break even.

Wont happen.

You're either trying too hard or something, but either way, shut the fuck up. Your tough guy attitude is too superficial.

Listen you goth insignificant fuck, who gives a shit if, compared side by side with the size of the universe how much we may mean. WE --> US <--- human beings give ourselves meaning and the will to survive. We're not insignificant - we're unique organisms attempting to survive in something we don't know jack shit about (Reason for our existence, what the universe is etc.).

The way you make it sound is like we don't belong here. Go back into your closet and go jack off the furry shit, dumb shit.

And that's your problem. You don't understand the full spectrum of things.

Human beings are capable of great things but however due to the constraints of the influences laid down upon us (i.e. money issues, superficial things like clothes, cars etc.) we're kept at such a low development level that we can't reach our full potential.

It's not US that has to be reset, your lazy ass fuck mind can only comprehend that because you're not looking at the grand picture of things.

It's the influences that shape our lives that need to be changed. Better schooling/education can be a good starter. Stressing independent thinking among other things.

Shit we're getting bombarded with advertisements 24/7 and E! or some retarded magazine telling us which celeb we need to pay attention to, or the genocide that plagues people around the world or hunger and many other things.

Human beings are by no means incapable of greater, positive things, it's just the foundation of our development hasn't been substantially rooted in anything that really allows for great growth but controlled power.

Give it a little while longer and some balance will be achieved. It's not like it can remain like this forever.

Hell, even if the dreaded "new world order" comes about, at least it's 1 step closer to unity.

And to stay on topic.. Yes.

Polar Bears deserve as much protection as all endangered species. If you take a moment to back away from your video games, cans of mountain dew piling up on your desk and endless hot pocket wrappers, the biosphere of our world is a truly amazing thing.

Polar bears, just like all other species, evolved over a long and intense time period. All species are unique - hate em or love em. Bees, Bears, Bananas, Birds, Brontosaurus.. all of these creatures thrived and it's important to keep them around.

A "Fuck them if they can't evolve fast enough to survive" attitude is pretty lazy, incompetent and irresponsible. As the most intelligent beings on this planet, we have a certain degree of responsibility to make sure, to the best of our ability, the the ecosystems and habitats of the world are left undisturbed to preserve the balance of nature.

We are essential to it as it is essential to us. If we let everything on the Earth start dropping like flies (ecosystems, animal species..) then we'll lead to our own demise.

But if they were able to make over a million people aware of the issue it gets people thinking. Plus, it would only take 50,000 people to donate for 6 months which is pretty reasonable to cover the cost assuming it is as high as you say.

earthfell and the other hippie tree huggers are hilarious. first of all the polar bears arent going anywhere there may be less in some sections than before but globally there are just as many as ever. second even if the polar bears went extinct, so what? we got plenty of other bears and if we wanted to we can clone polar bears right back into existence.

thirdly, say a million dumbasses donated 16 bucks a month for the rest of their lives, how is that going to stop global warming and save even one polar bear? seriously we cant even seed clouds to make it rain or slow down hurricanes, we are at nature's mercy, its arrogant and elitist to think we can control the earth when we cant even run our own country or economy. fourth and final. polar bears may be white and big but they are nasty disgusting animals. they will eat a human if he can catch one and they easily can. Polar bears are the only species of bear that will do that. the other types of bears only attack if threatened. so in summary. fuck the polar bears , they arent worth saving and even if they were we couldnt do shit to help them anyway especially not with 16 bucks a month. fuck off hippie douschebags

I like polar bears and all, but I don't trust most charitable organizations to use my money wisely.

For a few weeks after he started posting, I figured "nah this guy's a troll, no way anyone is that simple minded."

If only things were that simple.

We regret to inform the world that not 2 minutes before, Bugs Bunny tragically died when he was mauled and eaten whole by a bear.

Agreed if I ever get rich I'm not donating to charities, I'll give the money directly to the polar bears.
