Spending the Night in Random_City_X

Heading to a concert in a city about three hours away tomorrow (concert's in Albany, NY; I'm presently in Syracuse, NY). Neither I nor the friend I'm going with have a car with us, so we're getting there by bus. By the time the concert's over (~11pm), however, there won't be any readily available transportation back to our home city.

So looks like we're stuck in Albany for a night. Should we Motel 6 it? Wander aimlessly? Head to the local university and find somewhere there to crash?

Any other thoughts on coping with the general situation?

Drive 40 minutes up the road and drink your heart out in Saratoga Springs, NY if it's the weekend. Hell of a little town.

Yea...make friends at the concert man. It's not that hard if you are not shy or whatever. Find the afterparty's and live it up

Honestly all my best stories revolve around the crazy shit we got up to, being in a city with not enough money or resolve to rent a room for the night, wandering aimlessly with some friends.

MMmm...being a native of Rotterdam and therefor living right next to Albany; (currently residing in Utica

while I attend school) honestly Syracuse kicks the shit out of Albany. Suny Albany is like the number #1 party school in NY, but the parties kind of suck and honestly most of the people there really suck too. Actually Saratoga isn't a bad idea....
