| I think you looked at my practice test score (740) and not my actual score (690). Plus I'm lopsided towards verbal which is even worse. That site is definitely off look at USNews if you want accurate average GMAT scores. The middle 50 percent at harvard is 700-760 and they have it listed as 689. Edit: LOL got this as part of a question today "Though Chun-Li had won many streetfights, she still felt nervous before each new match began." Last edited by prescient63; 09-29-2009 at 08:35 AM.. |

| @gauss 750 on GRE quant is kids stuff, man, when I think something like 7% of takers make a perfect score of 800. If I applied to a Finance or Econ PhD program with anything less than a 790 it wouldn't even get looked at. |

| All aboard the fail boat, I got a 23 on the ACT(go go never preparing for the test) and to get into ASU's accounting program I gotta have a 25. Looks like I'll be retaking it here in another month.

On a side note, Accounting is one of the few good business majors. I really enjoyed accounting before I switched majors. Good luck. | |

+3 Internets | Quick update on the MBA applications for those interested: Submitted the app to Chicago Booth in round 1, heard back today that I made it to interviews. I plan to submit an app to Cornell round 2 this week as well. I interview in Chicago around the 20th of Nov, and will hear back on the final decision before Dec 20th.

+3 Internets | I appreciate the offer but, besides the fact that it's too late now, my experience tells me that admissions officers are really vague in their answers across the board presumably because they want to see what you come up with. Is it Rose Martinelli that you are speaking with? Her presentation about Booth in Washington DC last year is what sealed it as my top choice.
