you can't swim upstream in academia. mathematicians, physicists (top tier) to bio, engineers (middle tier), to business, humanities (bottom). a mathematician, physicist can go down the ladder pretty easy, but someone in marketing or english can't go up. if you study the hard sciences and lots of math as undergrad or post grad, getting an mba is a cake walk. there's no way an english major is going to go from a BA to a master in electrical engineering.

no upstream swimming. so study the hard material and you can do the easy stuff if you need for networking junk.

What a retarded post. Unfortunately, not everything in life can be defined by numbers, especially not with business issues. And I guess all of those engineers in my program that were begging to just get a passing grade in management, marketing and strategy courses were just a figment of my imagination. Many of those guys had the same attitude you did; that a business degree would be easy. But when you go to a ranked school, this isn't the case.

Numbers alone won't help you run a business, satisfy customers, create a product, launch a product, come up with strategies to be competitive, or manage people.

This probably happened first year, because any engineer in upper class would fucking laugh at management classes.

I took a management class to pass the time:
I made a friend who i took under my wing, I had to remind him that "an alligator eats the bigger number".
After every test the class size decreased by 1/3rd.
40% Athletes.

This was business statistics too which all of them were fucking moaning because it was omg hard.

Easier A than history.

oh fucking please. you people are trying to make mbas sound hard or even important. people get them to further their career; ie, to make more money at a job. if phds provided the same money / for work ratio, the engineers would be getting phds.

this has nothing to do with how easy or hard a program is. mbas are a dime a dozen. they're on every street corner from main street to wall street. the curriculum of all of them is easy. there's nothing hard about fucking marketing management. the hardest it goes is accounting, and even that is cake.

don't play stupid games. just tell the fucking truth. it's easy, but it (used to) make money. i'm not really sure why you would get one now though.
