I'm doing this more for laughs than to turn a serious profit, anyway. I wouldn't get too heavily "invested" in Elmo inventory unless you're willing to take on a lot of risk, though. Very rarely do hot toys become absurd, Tickle Me Elmo-style phenomenons.

Parents go ape shit around Christmas time trying to get all the "hot" toys their kids "have to have". You'll probably make a good turn around even in these shitty economic times. Most parents would rather have to pay way extra then have a screaming, disappointed child on Christmas.
