FBI shouldn't be involved at all, she should be pubically scolded for conducting non personal business over a yahoo account. If a business professional did this they would be burned at the stake for carelessness.

i agree. i wouldn't say that it's a non-issue- she is the vp nominee, afterall- but she shouldn't have used fucking yahoo for professional correspondence. the businessman is a good analogy. can you imagine the shitstorm if some major dow exec had his account cracked and every little corporate trick and handjob got posted for the world to gawk at? and she could well be the fucking lady in line for presidency.

the fbi part is lol though. why don't they do more about gaming accounts being hacked? Haven't virtual assets been deemed tangible in real value (like second-life?)

It's not like he hacked her .gov account or something that would be considered more important.

Also, to use the word hack is a bit of an overstatement. The kid just guessed her secret question because she's a transparent as the piss poor ticket she's on.

He obtained access to a secured (lol sorta) private system without authorization. While 4 years is unrealistic I think a hefty fine and probation would fit as a first offense.

Yeah, Mike Kernell. It's funny, too, because the guy is one of the most scatterbrained, disorganized politicians in the state. If it weren't for the fact that he's so out there, someone might actually try and link it to him, but since he's such a spaz I don't think anyone would ever come to the conclusion he could even manage the password recovery feature.
