Oh yeah totally, I can't do it backwards for the life of me. Although I've been told they're not actually looking for the right order, but speech patterns and so on. Pesticide is the most obvious example.
If the word laced is too aggressive, then tainted is an acceptable synonym.

I guess in the context of recreational drugs, the word "laced," automatically refers, specifically, to other recreational drugs. Sorry for your confusion.
