+54 Internets | There's also a graph that does it by income quintile: ![]() Best illustrates the bottom-up vs top-down approach. McCain gives the biggest cut (as a percentage) to the wealthiest, whereas Obama gives the biggest cut to the poorest. |

| What a pointless fucking debate. Neither candidate had the balls to actually talk about any real policy change. Both of them did hand-waving changes "LOL ILL CUT SPENDING I SWEAR!!"... Fuck that. Obama crushed McCain on the economy.. Especially the tax cuts and health insurance. DUH, did anyone not expect this to happen? McCain crushed obama on foreign policy... Honestly, mccain kept saying "you dont understand" which was fucking annoying.. but he had a point. McCain definitely has more foreign policy experience and it showed. Obama's rhetoric was much more refined and professional sounding. Duh. McCain was much better at "name-dropping" and demonstating that he had been involved in a lot of issues. Duh. We all know mccain has way more experience than obama. Again, what a pointless fucking debate. I learned nothing new today than I did yesterday. More so, I am not surprised at the poll results. American's typically respond much better to rhetoric than anything else. McCain really failed at nailing obama to the "you talk the talk but fail to walk the walk" point and I think it allowed obama to run away with this debate. Obama was able to talk about what he is going to do with no historic proof that he will actually do those things. For me personally both candidates sucked ass. I am still leaning towards obama because I think the economy is the most important issue right now. Personally I feel foreign policy experience is just that.. experience and something that can be learned. McCain and I have a pretty big difference in opinion on the economy and im not sure that will change(at least while he has dumb-ass economic advisors). However, 4 years ago I would have voted for McCain. Last edited by Lenaldo; 09-26-2008 at 10:07 PM.. |

| McCain needed a game changer. He tried to guarantee one with his little stunt but it did not work. Only the McCain people were fooled by that nonsense. McCain was on his home turf did well but did not crush Obama. |

| McCain never mentions that he is a Republican...ever. Never have. Never will. That is why I can not understand Republicans supporting him. He bashes Bush more than Obama does. McCain even compared Obama to Bush. Did you catch that? |
