Bit late to take the moral highground when you already called Obama a 'nigger' and have quite a few goes at 'fuckin liberals'.

I do not support auto makers getting a bailout. After YEARS of watching honda and Toyota produce better quality cars at cheaper prices they continue to come out with over priced expensive low quality shit. Then finally when the economy is hurting to bad they release the chevy volt 5 years to late 20,000$ overpriced and lower quality then either honda or Toyota.

Next year a 19,000$ honda insight is coming out.... Seriously if American auto makers can't maker cheaper AND better cars then gtfo out of the market. Don't sell me half assed shit and tell me to suck it up for American fucking pride.

Oh and the Palin interview is just scary. Solving or economic problems takes more then a hockey mom with a "unique perspective" whatever the fuck that means. Common sense is NOT what we need to deal with national issues.

I see now. You're one of those people that looks for reasons to be offended. It must be frustrating to go through life like that.

Statistically disregarding any additional medical issues Mr McCain has a 35% chance of failing to make the full 8 years. With his medical problems, who knows ... maybe up to double that fail chance.

This is the republicans chance to put a new person in place for the Presidency. There is no republican running right now since McCain suspended his campaign. Maybe they can get Romney in there now. This is their opening to do this if they are going to do it.

I think it is pretty obvious most Republicans have jumped shipped on McCain. In the polls it's not quite as apparent, because most Republicans abhor the Democratic viewpoints and Obama and that includes me. The fact that that conman is being handed the election sickens me and makes me so angry at my party.

But maybe this will finally be the death knell. He chose Palin only to shore up the social conservatives, awful choice and she clearly is not ready. I can't even watch an interview without being ashamed. And it goes to the very heart of the issue, if the party was still about fiscal conservatism or a hand's off foreign policy instead of these social issues that should not be the domain of government he might have really made a gamble and picked someone like Romney for VP, and then surprise surprise he would have had a nice trump card and source of advice for the economic crisis. Not that Romney would solve it one fell swoop but he's sharp on this shit, Romney is comfortable talking about the exact things that right now everyone wants to listen too. But he isn't religious enough... what a joke.

As for republicans in this thread, its fun at times but the supposedly major campaign issues were never really brought up anyway. I tried to troll people to get them involved and had some fun. But who really wants to sit around and play mock-political analyst on a messageboard? I'd rather bitch about issues that I may not fully understand or effect but are at least salient problems. Otherwise its nice to be able to glean some of peoples' philosophies. Personally I just don't understand enough about the financial system to even argue what's going on however. I also think that it makes the election moot, let Obama get in and raise taxes and use the revenue to pay down our debt and strengthen the dollar (hopefully). With what's happening now I do not see much else happening in the next few years other then pulling out of Iraq to save money, there's just no resources available for anyone in government to play with. Maybe it's the perfect backdrop for Obama so that he will be limited in what he can do.

This morning on one of the news shows (CNN or MSNBC, forget which) the ticker said that the percentage of Republicans who are excited to vote has dropped from something like 34% to 25% since the Republican convention.

Washington Times - McCain steps up in maverick style

why am i not shocked to see it was OBAMA who wanted a bipartisan true suspension of the politicking (through issuance of a joint statement which HE approached the mccain campaign about?)

McCain (surprise) just tried to make Obama look like a retard (which waiting around for McCain not to fuck you over he kind of DID make Obama look like a fool).....

I'm glad as hell Obama was like "we need a president who can multitask". Good for him.

The n-word card is done. Stop playing it. There is so much blind hate based on the essence of what a person is on both sides of the fence that there is no juice left in simply discrediting someone for using this slur when your camp turns around and shits on large segments of the population and has every intention of diminishing their voice and input if possible.

Either let the past be the past or take off your air of moral righteousness and realize that hate does not have to be sensationalized to be hate and therefore disgusting.

And Ron Paul sweeps in for the victory.

Stop playing it? When the man attempts to exit by saying "I am better than you, for I have not thrown stones" after having used the n-word... well, there's no reason to "stop playing it."

So let me get this straight Spitz... it's ok to call someone that word, as long as the other side did something bad first? Seriously? Grow up.

The McCain campaign wants to postpone the debate until next week, on the day Biden and Palin were supposed to meet. The VP debate will be postponed to an undetermined date - dear god, could they possibly try and get it scrapped for good? Listen to the interviews, if Palin is on that stage, she'll be done.

Top story on the CNN Political Ticker
maybe if he hadn't blown his wad and fucked the obama campaign's efforts to try to actually BE UNIFIED on this point obama would have joined him on the no debate thing and things would have been different.

That's not what I said at all. Its not ok to hate in any sense, but to make a bigger deal about one specific hate and let others slide by is repulsive.

Please don't respond to my posts, you can't read and understand.

So to recap: I'm not responsible for Aychamo's stupidity, but you should be responsible for IRB's? Is that the jist?
