One thing popped up today I'm curious about.

Not really political but the state trooper that Palin supposidly tried to get fired admitted that yes he had tasered his 11 year old son (Palins nephew) and it was a bad choice but that should have no bearing on him being fired.

He's still a state trooper....why are policeman that taser their own 11 year old not in jail? That's what I want to know, how do you get out of charges with that when you admit it?

Watching the Sarah Palin interview on ABC right now - this is comical. She is being asked more "hard" questions than I've ever seen any political candidate being asked by any media outlet since 1992. I certainly praise the media for FINALLY asking SOMEONE tough questions -- but lets hope they do this to Obama and McCain as well since they are, you know, the people actually running for president.

Just fyi it wasn't to hurt the kid atleast that was not the intention. The context of it was that he used the taser used for trials,(aka place the strobes on the person and a much lesser charge) apparently the kid was begging for it..

Was a bad choice offcourse, but there was no malintention.

She basically said that she agrees with the bush doctrine and that we have every right to launch attacks in another country without that government approval. Charlie gibson wanted a yes/no answer and she wouldn't give it but repeated herself 2 or 3 times saying the same crap. I caught the tail end of the interview but it seemed like she didn't know what the bush doctrine was and she didn't answer any of his questions directly.

If the kid wanted to know what it was like to get shot and the guy shot him in the leg, he would go to jail. Whether the kid wanted it or not, it is extremely irresponsible and a big misuse of equipment that as a police officer you are entrusted to use responsibly. I'm not at all surprised that he would be fired for it.

Generally you don't have a country's permission when you attack them. For the most part, countries do not want to be attacked.
