| Oh, man. I can't believe I just realized how correct Obama was about American's in small towns clinging to their guns and religion. He gets jumped on for those comments, and yet McCain picks as his V.P. someone who's small town, gun loving, and ultra religious. And fires up his base by doing so. I wonder if there is an ad in there somehow? |

| I'm a little confused as to why Biden would go so far to discredit himself as VP compared to Hillary. Does he really think he's going to get Hillary voters because he's kissing up to Hillary? |

| Biden is a loose cannon, he often launches the footbullets. funnily enough its the main reason why Obama picked him , well that and to beef up his ticket with experience. I wonder what would happen if Biden did drop out and Hillary hopped on what McLame's reaction would be? they have been praising her in ads to smear obama. it would be a hilarious ironic twist. |

"Are we being too easy on Barack Obama?" "Are we a bunch of sexists?" "Are we fair and balanced?" They iterate this stuff over and over on tv and print like they want the public to see this giant effort on their part to APPEAR neutral. -------------------- The real sad part in all this is - if you put up a candidate that was SERIOUSLY no bullshit, wasnt afraid to call people out on their bs (not maverick style im talking like no sugarcoating) --- they'd be seen as 'too harsh'. And would never get anywhere politically even if they were careful in picking their battles/not overly combative. And the real irony is that America wants someone who isn't afraid to be real with the rest of the world....and yet we cant deal with that sort of criticism (whether from our leaders to us or from people from other countries to us) ourselves. We put blinders on and ignore the fact that we're just like everyone else. Republicans chastize the democrats for being 'elitist' when republicans are eager to tell other countries what they should and should not (can/cannot) do because America is the greatest country in the world and OBVIOUSLY knows whats best for everyone else when our country is a mess at home. Democrats call republicans out of touch on issues like poverty and the environment and yet they support corn subsidies which turn into products like ethanol instead of feeding the hungry and doesn't really have a substantive impact on the environment at all - it just funnels money to big business and farmers making MILLIONS of dollars of profit a year in addition to their subsidies. The religious right talks about how the war in Iraq is a holy war and yet they dont see themselves or this country as fanatical at all about religion. The poor scream about injustices levied against them by the rich and yet they steal from one another. I'd give anything for a candidate with a clue and wasn't going to just jerk me off and waste my fucking time. I dont care if youre black white male female christian muslim married divorced.....do a good fucking job and leave me the fuck alone and ill vote for you. Come to me with REAL issues and dont give me a lot of bullshit and fluff - let me make an informed decision or at least walk me through your decision making process.

| I'm expecting that Obama's campaign is saving up for October when they start up the character debates and really start hitting him that the entire Republican platform fails in that first primary qualification. Hell, they should just hire John Stewart's team and let the Repub's own words destroy all integrity. |

| I think Obama has been floored by the fact that he is actually in a dog fight. The arrogance that came off as prideful confidence in his own abilities is now just coming of as smugness. He is way off his game and he has to see by now that picking a blowhard like Biden was the worst fucking move he could make. His only consolation is that McCain's campaign is in some sort of negativity frenzy at the moment that will probably come back to bite him in the ass. McCain should just hunker down until the debates where he should do his level best to come out and confirm everyone's worst fears about Obama's naivete.

Whether this makes her look like an inept fool or a genius, I don't care, and I don't think a lot of other people do either. They just want her to put herself out there to prove to the world that she can do what she is being tasked to do and face the hard questions that she will face if she is elected. It's that simple. Can she stand up to the scrutiny in person or will she fold under the pressure and cry sexism and unfairness of the liberal media? Who knows. But we'll never know if all they do is some 4 day long ABC interview crap that's probably canned. It makes them look like they have something to hide. She is largely an unknown and people want to know her. That's why everyone is looking forward to the debates so much, but even those aren't going to satisfy what the American public is looking for. I'm sick of reading about her on the internet. I want to watch her come out and stand in the firing line and answer all of these questions herself, whether she lies or not, and prove she has what it takes in terms of experience and prove all the liberal haters wrong. | |

| Why the hell is McCain running these utterly rediculous negative ads? There's no point to them. There is plenty to attack Obama on without resorting to this kind of bullshit.

| actually i dont think he is running any of them, they are just internet ads, whose only purpose is to make the evening news. its a smart way of advertising cuz it doesnt cost any money in ad placing. |
