Not really, Kerry was a godawful candidate.

I agree that this mud-flinging that's going on is ridiculous. Why anyone thinks that it wasn't going to happen though is crazy. These are politicians first. They are going to do whatever they can do to get your average voter (the one that doesn't follow these candidates day by day) to vote for them. Saying things like 'Obama is making fun of Palin with the lipstick comment' gets the average voter's attention.

Anyone know when that Palin interview with ABC is supposed to happen?

I'm sure you got peoples hopes up in 2004.

The real comedy is Australia is more conservative than we are. I'd shoot for Canada with your propaganda, if I were you.

I hear from so many Dems how they'll leave the country if so and so isnt' elected in Presidential cycles. Then they wonder why some question their patriotism.
I voted for Bush in 2004. I would have left the country if Kerry had won.

People who voted for Kerry in 2004 didn't vote for him because they thought he would make a good president, they voted for him because he was someone other than Bush.

Sounds like why Obama wants you to vote for him .... 99% of the convention was about not giving Bush another 4 years.

She is studying for it now. Bush sent out his lackeys to school her on how to not say anything. Lipstick on a pig? I do believe the term is accurate.

Palin team stocked with Bush veterans

Difference though is Obama is better at selling you that instead of Kerry.

Is she up to 300 Foreign Affair advisors yet?

Anyways, the Dems have Dem advisors, and the GOP has GOP advisors. Trying to score political points that way is kinda poor, IMO.

Optimally I'd trade spots with Australia. They seem to like the American way of going about things anyway, and us Canucks and Kiwis get along great.

I think you need to do some research. Australia's not the US by any means, but they are more like the the US in terms of conservatism and so on than most people think. Go to NZ instead. I love that country and the people in it.

But seriously, I was just having fun with the whole "I'm moving to Canada" bullshit Alec Baldwin and others have thrown out for a couple elections in a row now. Although honestly if the US keeps going down the path that it's gone down the past 8 years, I am concerned with our proximity to the US. It's been a massive advantage for the past couple centuries, no question, and I hope it stays that way.

I have little or no faith in ABC doing anything more than pitching her softballs that lead to the same canned responses from the speech that she gave at the RNC. Which she has been repeating word for word ever since.

What gives? Why do the fascists abbreviate their slang terms for the socialists, but the socialists don't abbreviate their slang terms for the fascists?
It's because the fascist's listen to people like Ann Coulter and just spout off whatever bullshit she says. No original thoughts these people.

Whenever someone says "libs" it's just the gayest thing I've ever seen.

Yes the Dems have advisers just not Bush advisers. Sort of verifies that whole "Bush 3rd Term" thing.

Obviously you are speaking out of your ass because Obama has Bush advisers as well.
