Don't use logic. You will destroy his tiny mind.

Those areas need further zooming in to give data with any sort of accuracy. For instance, in Dallas, literally from one street to the next, near where I work, you can find $1m homes on one and shitty apartments on the other. It's basically an acknowledgment that the data isn't useful for urban areas when shown on a country-wide scale like that.

No but it will certainly mean that you can not put lipstick on a pig...even when that pig is from Alaska.

This is like the movie groundhog day watching a train wreck over and over again. Go ahead and keep voting Republican - I am developing a morbid curiosity to see just how much damage Republican's can do. We may be looking at a full 16 years of uninterrupted republican rule here and I am curious to see if the country can survive it. You are voting for a future with:
  • Abortion becoming illegal
  • Creationism taught in schools
  • A repeal or lack of judicial recognition of civil rights and civil liberties
  • Unfettered corporate dominance over American workers with no regulation or restrictions on outsourcing American jobs
  • A continued reliance on fossil fuels with no real government incentive to break our dependence of foreign oil
  • Higher taxes for the middle class and low income Americans
  • Privatization of social support services
  • Expansionist foreign policy without any attempt at arms control and a renewed Cold War

If the majority of American's truly want to see this reality then go out and vote Republican. We are a democracy and those are the rules. However, I do not think that red state America truly understands the consequences that will occur from this. If the majority of U.S. voters want to take the country back to the dark ages - so be it - but get ready for the blowback.
I agree with your morbid curiosity. I almost want McCain to win to see what will happen. Maybe we'll get the chance to say "We told you so" in four years and see if history repeats itself. Maybe he'll do a great job though.

I don't know about anything else on your list but there is no way in hell that abortion will be made illegal and creationism will be taught in schools. Thats rhetoric that they spout to get the Evangelicals to vote for them.

If abortion becomes illegal in the next four years and all grammar/high schools are teaching mandated creationism, I will eat my words, but seriously, that will never happen no matter who is in power. Unless all 9 Supreme Court Justices are crazy right wingers of course.

Ok I hear "dems" and "libs."
I never hear "reps" or "cons." I do hear "neo-cons" but thats a bit different.
What gives? Why do the fascists abbreviate their slang terms for the socialists, but the socialists don't abbreviate their slang terms for the fascists?

As much as I'd like to see a libertarian president, I don't feel that Bob Barr is libertarian enough.

While I disagree with a lot Dr Paul does, I like his bravado.

I would love for there to be multiple parties sharing the House, Senate, and presidency from election to election. The more viable national parties, the better the country will be.

Tragically, I don't see it happening in my life time.

Yeah, but you are a Dem, so we know you lie.

I'm sure you got peoples hopes up in 2004.

The real comedy is Australia is more conservative than we are. I'd shoot for Canada with your propaganda, if I were you.

I hear from so many Dems how they'll leave the country if so and so isnt' elected in Presidential cycles. Then they wonder why some question their patriotism.
