Listen, I've explained and substantiated EVERY position I've had. I've explained why I think and feel that way and I have invited and even challenged others to present their opposing views. I WELCOME debate on any of these points.

Have YOU or ANY of the Obama fanatics around here countered with the factual basis of your convictions in Obama's positions?

Did you show us what "leadership" Obama displayed during his years colluding with arab financiers who were partnered with Nation of Islam's Herbert Muhammad? Did you show us how EXACTLY we're supposed to interpret Obama's tenure in the senate failing to show any leadership, moral courage or even showing up AT ALL is supposed to inspire us into believing that he can do anything he has promised?

I've shown you how I arrived at my conclusions about Obama's non-positions on the Economy, on Education, on Social Security and did you even challenge those meaningfully?

So let's take a look at what we've seen throughout this thread. The conservatives have all provided evidence for their positions, regardless how bombastic---and the liberals fume and prevaricate and make wild grasping gesticulations.

No that's not what he's really saying.

You see, our public education system is univserally free and heavily funded. Without exception they are ALL better funded than the catholic schools, music conservatories and jewish schools that outperform them all handily. ALMOST without exception the non-magnet inner city public schools perform WORSE than schools in places like Belgium, India and Korea. He's saying that it's more attributable to the character and disposition of the parents and the children.

In other words, he insists that there's something INFERIOR about the parents and children in our inner city public schools.

Unfortunately, the testing scores of catholic schools and military academies don't support that hypothesis at all. In fact, those same catholic schools are often in the same poor latino and black urban neighborhoods as the worst PUBLIC schools.

He insists that it's some inherent deficiency of the students and their parents that lead to their poor performance when the facts show that it's a deficiency in the SCHOOL SYSTEM.

I reject that there's anything MORE wrong with the students or parents of public schools anymore than those families that attend catholic schools. Luckily for me the US Supreme Court, the relative testing scores, and the success of the Utah and Ohio school voucher systems happen to agree with me.

So yeah, the same McCain who was almost John Kerry's vice presidential candidate, who now campaigns with AL GORE'S vice presidential running mate riding shotgun, and who will most likely have Joe Liebermann in his cabinet is "exactly the same" Republican administration? McCain has already admitted that he will most likely appoint more democrats in his cabinet.

And what proof do we have that McCain will actually deliver on that bluster? What proof do we have the McCain has EVER shown that sort of Bipartisanship? Oh yeah, three decades of some of the most important and bipartisan acts of congress from campaign ethics, to immigration, to healthcare.

You must be aware that the best thing McCain can hope for at this point is that Obama keeps barking up that tree right? Because it's as effective as attacking his military record: there's simply too much evidence that McCain is NOT another Bush. You can't point to a horse that's been sitting in the senate for three decades getting EXCORIATED by his own party and try to call it a donkey.
