As I said, Palin as former VP vs Clinton in 2012 would be exactly the situation you mention and I allude to. Clinton would be just fine with that battle, in fact with a woman on the ticket Clinton would possibly get some help from strongly right wing conservatives not voting or voting for independents. Even with 4 years of VP experience Palin's political record is not going to outshine Clinton's, it would end up being a heck of a battle that Clinton would love to see come about.

Not so fast sunshine... Clinton's political record to date sucks... And don't give me any of that she was first lady bullshit either. To date she has not authored any significant legislation. She is most know for her flawlessly executed duties of containing Bill's bimbo eruption and her nationalized health care plan that failed miserably.

She does have 4 years to do something meaningful, but ultimately, it will only make her more popular with liberals (not Reagan Democrats) and she will get slaughtered like Bevo at the red river shootout!

Really. Liberals and kooks live by the polls and they went from a 5-12 point lead, depending on the poll, to now trailing anywhere from 4 to 10 points.

As for economics, liberals are terrible with their plans. No socialist/communist society could compare to our Republic, period. The Soviets collapsed and they brutally murdered, tortured, or otherwise enslaved millions of people who were "enemies of the state".

Then comes healthcare. Bitch all you want about our system, the fact is it is the very best system in the world. In all other places around the world you wait for your your life saving treatments. Many times, the patient dies waiting. There are numerous examples of people from all around the world coming to the US to get treated because they couldn't get the quality of care they required in the time they needed it. This is not even debatable.

Nationalized healthcare sucks. Canada sucks, England sucks when it comes to providing health care. When the shit hits the fan and you find out you need an operation but cannot wait, you hop your ass on a Boeing 777 luxury liner and get your ass here pronto. Usually, within a day, you are getting cut. And don't forget BIG PHARMACEUTICAL! We develop the life saving drugs the world counterfeits. Our government can't make these drugs, but Abbot can As far as I am concerned, our BIG PHARAM companies shouldn't pay a god damn dime in taxes. The money they have to spend just on their lawyers right there causes mark ups.
