| I was 7-14, and my father was an engineer who moved there for a job. Why? I'm sure brutal laws have something to do with it. There is also a very strong religious cultural element.

| It is hilarous how many people in this thread think the American people will make a rational, educated choice in this election, and how many genuinely think a certain political party is good for the country. A few years ago americans where the good guys, now I just hope Europe isn't dragged into the inevitable nuclear war. Fucking sort yourselves out. The world economy and politics are fucked because of your retarded politians, stop voting for them!? Come on, you have a guy saying change all the time because the other candidate used it honestly and got some sucsess, and the other person on the ticket is basially saying "OMG I LOOOOVE AMERICA!!!" really loudly and not much else.

Most of the other channels have people going on rants about stupid shit at best.
