Whoever left me the -internets about being a "conspiracy theorist" can go fuck yourself. I guarantee you that both sides of this campaign are flooding high traffic boards/blogs/comment sections of key demographics with their own plants. This is 2008 and if you have failed to notice the Internet does have quite a bit of influence on opinion. It's quite a sound strategy and costs basically nothing.

To get back on track. All the guys I work with are NRA members and very conservative. They could not shut the fuck all day about how awesome of a move this is on McCain's part. I think its just proof that Obama has them scared to the point of being nonsensical.

I just do not understand how the same dipshit lefties who were talking about how by this time Obama would be 15 points ahead of McCain 5 months ago are now here saying this is the worst possible pick, a travesty, a disaster, etc. This pick basically reminds everyone McCain is a crazy motherfucker, and not a normal politician. That is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm on the record as saying I don't like the pick, but you cocky motherfuckers better prepare for the chance that, amazingly, you will be wrong again.

This country is not a left leaning country, this country at its core does not want the government running every aspect of our lives, and Obama is not the messiah you make him out to be to 95% of the population. He may win, but he also may get his ass handed to him by a septuagenarian and a milf from Alaska. Fucking ALASKA. AND McCain hasn't even ran a very good campaign.

I can already see IRB getting all angsty, driving his Prius to West Virginia, shooting up a Wal-Mart and then slitting his own hemp-laden throat in the gun section on November 5th. An Obama victory is not a certainty, no matter how much you angrily declare it to be so.

EDit: also those Hillary Clinton forums are awe-inspiring. I had no idea some some feminists get pissed off about the dems using Roe V Wade as a weapon like a lot of us with conservative leanings do gay marriage.
