When the poor child rape victims of Chicago's south side were having their public identities plundered in court and published for all to see what did Obama do?

Also in 1999, Obama voted "present" on HB 854 that protected the privacy of sex-abuse victims by allowing petitions to have the trial records sealed. He was the only member to not support the bill.

And then most importantly, when it came to protecting the life of fetuses that SURVIVE abortions late in their term, the people of the state asked the legislature to protect those babies if they somehow survive the cool little blender that abortionists use to liquify their brains, what did Obama do?

In 2001, Obama voted "present" on two parental notification abortion bills (HB 1900 and SB 562), and he voted "present" on a series of bills (SB 1093, 1094, 1095) that sought to protect a child if it survived a failed abortion. In his book, the Audacity of Hope, on page 132, Obama explained his convictions about "born alive" bills, specifically arguing that they would overturn Roe v. Wade. But he failed to mention that he only felt strongly enough to vote "present" on the bills instead of "no."

NOT ONLY did Obama refuse to take a position, but he then wrote about about "principles" and "convictions" about a cause so profound but then he LIED ABOUT HAVING THE INTEGRITY TO STAND UP FOR IT.

Did Obama do this once or twice or three times? Nope, he did it for more than 130 of the most crucial bills in the Illinois senate. Thats for the FEW bills Obama bothered to show up to vote for in the first place with his horrible attendance record and that's not counting those bills that he REPEATEDLY pressed the wrong button during votes with. Earning the ire of his own fellow democrats in the government for his incompetence.

But hey, he SURE sponsored the shit out of those bills didn't he? Along with hundreds of OTHER senators.

Obama is highly educated in law. If we're talking about laws and how to make them, Obama is the man! But what the heck does experience in making laws have to do with the presidency!

Obama is also an amazing motivator. I've never been into politics, but Obama has gotten me addicted and wanting to learn more. I'm sure this is the case for many other Americans and EVEN internationally.

I would be sorely disappointed if McCain got into office. We need some fresh enthusiasm in office!

The fact of the matter is that this entire mess was created with the REPUBLICANS in office. The majority of it was with a Republican Congress and a Republican President. Now, the Republicans are yelling for CHANGE?

Somehow these Republicans think we can just ignore the last 8 years and how inept they were in office? The country wants change which means changing the current leadership. If Republicans created this entire mess, why would we want to elect another Republican?

McCain voted with Bush what, 90% of the time? It's more of the same thing, we want something different.
