And she was RIGHT. Obama road coattails in Washington just as he did in Illinois and just as he did at any point when my state expected LEADERSHIP OUT OF HIM. When the people of his district needed a man who would take their side against the strip joints that were moving closer and closer to schools and playgrounds what did Obama do? Quote:

Did Obama do this once or twice or three times? Nope, he did it for more than 130 of the most crucial bills in the Illinois senate. Thats for the FEW bills Obama bothered to show up to vote for in the first place with his horrible attendance record and that's not counting those bills that he REPEATEDLY pressed the wrong button during votes with. Earning the ire of his own fellow democrats in the government for his incompetence. But hey, he SURE sponsored the shit out of those bills didn't he? Along with hundreds of OTHER senators.

Obama is also an amazing motivator. I've never been into politics, but Obama has gotten me addicted and wanting to learn more. I'm sure this is the case for many other Americans and EVEN internationally. I would be sorely disappointed if McCain got into office. We need some fresh enthusiasm in office!

How fucking obvious does it have to be that I'm trolling you. I brought out Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemimah, and a pedophile version of the KFC guy giving a 70 year old advertising icon all kinds of nasty childlove and you still don't get it. You are too stupid to breathe.

| Well hey bro, don't be harsh on yourself. It's cool , we all make mistakes. Why don't you look at it from another angle. Think positively. Instead of looking at the absurdity of Goolsbee's non-achievements, why don't you give us a list of Goolsbee's accomplishments as an economic policy maker that would rival the sort of world-sweeping changes accomplished by McCain's advisors George Schultz and Arthur Laffer. Think REAL positively. |

| You almost got me to make a paragraph long post about the irrationalities of an internet bet over something we would never be able to confirm. Fuck, maybe I'm the one getting trolled.

| Here's Deepak Chopra's view on things: Blog: Obama and the Palin Effect | DeepakChopra.com Excerpt: Look at what she stands for: –Small town values — a nostaligic return to simpler times disguises a denial of America’s global role, a return to petty, small-minded parochialism. –Ignorance of world affairs — a repudiation of the need to repair America’s image abroad. –Family values — a code for walling out anybody who makes a claim for social justice. Such strangers, being outside the family, don’t need to be heeded. –Rigid stands on guns and abortion — a scornful repudiation that these issues can be negotiated with those who disagree. –Patriotism — the usual fallback in a failed war. –”Reform” — an italicized term, since in addition to cleaning out corruption and excessive spending, one also throws out anyone who doesn’t fit your ideology. |

| The fact of the matter is that this entire mess was created with the REPUBLICANS in office. The majority of it was with a Republican Congress and a Republican President. Now, the Republicans are yelling for CHANGE? Somehow these Republicans think we can just ignore the last 8 years and how inept they were in office? The country wants change which means changing the current leadership. If Republicans created this entire mess, why would we want to elect another Republican? McCain voted with Bush what, 90% of the time? It's more of the same thing, we want something different. |
