Ron Paul had some good ideas but he was not a compelling figure. His message needs a new messenger.

Yeah stores would accept whatever the hell they want. Austrian-school economics is heavily laden with von Mises' anarchism, so there's a lot of fuck you's to any form of government.

In theory, bond markets and stocks serve as competing currencies. But the whole point is that ONE currency would be anchored on specie as a permanent brake on inflation, and since they're all fiat now (especially the euro) we're seeing the irrational volatility Hayek was warning about.
