This choice is being widely hailed by all sorts of conservatives, and while people admit that it's not a flawless choice, it's pretty damn good. But hey, I'm sure FOH posters know way more about the political game than the best conservative thinktanks.

| Even if McCain picked Obama's half brother as VP there isn't any incentive for the conservative movers and shakers in this country to predict that their candidate is doomed and going to lose. It's a choice with some moxie and some real consequences. We'll see how it plays in the coming weeks. |

| Men acting with their penises, a feminist would argue, is exactly why women have been behind men in society in so many ways. They view women as objects, and not as leaders, bosses, equals. Now you want me to believe that that principal was thrown out of the window? If anything, men will now be turned away from the McCain campaign. It's a terrible pick. Don't get me wrong... I'm happy about it because my guy is going to be President now.I actually kinda feel sorry for her. She has no idea of the shit storm she's walked into.

NR in particular has been perfectly honest about their perception that McCain was in a poor position that wasn't improving, and that position seems to be shifting with this new direction.

Lots of people I know think this was a good pick, I would argue that the dems are in full damage control not the repubs. If Palin does reasonably well in the debates its gonna be a huge deal.
