McCain could have been a very good Democrat. As it turns out he is a pathetic Republican. Last edited by I'm Rich Bitch; 09-03-2008 at 11:21 PM.. | |

If you have something to say regarding the thread's title, that's awesome. But just flaming other posters because we don't agree with you, well, that's just boring.

| Palin had to take an extra day to get ready for this little speech that wasn't even written for her. They had to make it less masculine for her to deliver it because it even Mccain's staff thought he'd pick a man. Golf clap for bringing up a few talking point memos about how Obama's oratory skills aren't better because Mccain was a pow and how Biden has been in the political system for too long and Mccain is a pow and how* has been in the * too * and Mccain is a pow. Now soon we'll get to see this woman off the teleprompter and I think she'll amaze us with her ignorance and hell it just may make ignorant Americans love her more. |

I actually DO know some folks in Blackwater, and sadly no, they're not going ANYWHERE. I've been VERY uncomfortable of their existence but everyone who understands what they really are begrudge their necessity. You should spend a little time understanding what the ramifications of Blackwater's successes under fire in Iraq really REALLY means for the industry. Already there are hundreds of new PMC's coming into the fore (Blackwater itself has grown into a 20,000-man brigade-organized force). The repercussions are immense and far-reaching. Even now there's talk of mining and resource exploitation projects deep into Africa and south America that were never possible before because of security issues. Now you hear talk of ExxonMobil, BP and ConocoPhillips drooling over oil and gas projects that were impossible years ago but is now doable with a 500-man professional army permanently on-site. | Btw watching John Stewart he just made a nice little comment.. On the press release the Palins claimed that it was her daughters decision to keep the baby and to respect it. Isn't Palin totally against choice. Even in the sad event of a rape.. Backpedaling much?

She's able to help the ticket, but will not be allowed to have a real impact if she actually attains the VP spot.
