| What's your point? McCain cared less about his job as he got older?

| No but we were comparing careers and specifically grooming/experience. I was comparing Palin's to Obama's and you introduced McCain. It doesn't look good at all that McCain was so absent recently, but he has a long track record which makes the recent absenteeism less of an issue in comparison to Obama. And it's still a valid point, in the context of experience on the tickets, that Palin did enact reform and held a position that allowed her to do so compared to Obama who just seemed to go from post to post without leaving much of a mark anywhere at all. |

+1 Internets | Haha, that's the second awesome rant from Cafferty I've seen in the past month. And to whoever docked me a point because 'Alaska has more than 9000 people' I was referring to the town she was mayor over, where the bulk of her experience comes from and all of her problem solving capacity was tested. She showed herself a true champion of the people by deftly handling crises such as 'Will there be enough snow for the local dog sled competition?' Even still, Alaska is the least populous state in the Union. You guys have fun getting that opportunistic shit elected.

| Just wish the vitriol would be gone. That blog post and the rant, just baiting and reading insulting emails. Only thing remotely solid was the pipeline cited, and I'm almost sure the all-alaskan pipe would be a lot more expensive. Good to see obvious democratic supporters ragging on her experience though, that's a good start for the plan I think. |

The only reason there is vitriol in this campaign is due to McCain and Clinton running a filthy campaign, and it bringing out emotion and passion in the supporters of the opposing side. Oh, and this little thing known as the terrible Republican track record when it comes to governing. I'd really rather enjoy prosperity and peace over more wars and the de-evolution of our country.

| There was an absolutely great NYtimes article looking at what he did studying and teaching law. The report was not much, and specifically as a professor he disengaged from the faculty and held the job part time only to help fund political races, which he then did not do much in. I agree McCain has fatal flaws, some of which I hate, but so does Obama. I'm pretty sure most people would prefer prosperity and peace over war and de-evolution, so I concede that. I just believe, as vague as everything is, that America has lost a sense of personal responsibility and Obama's plans to me don''t extinguish that but exascerbate it. Just across the board it seems. |
