Don't you get it, that is the same argument against Obama except even more true because he is in charge. I don't get the Obama support, I see a man who always wanted to be a professional poltician. He's smart, he learned the law but never got involved in anything that could tie him to a position, and consequently never accomplished anything outside of his degrees. His time as a professor lead to no notable work, his time in the state legislature lead to nothing. It's like he was setting himself up all along and people buy it hook line and sinker. If you guys think that social responsibility promotes economic growth and betterment of society, please come to Buffalo, NY sometime and visit any area except the North side. My mom never went to college, she held a job in the city for thirty six years, had one child instead of four, that's how you move up. Ironicially she works in social services here, where I have worked as well, and is as staunch a Republican you can find. Just look at the states/cities/counties that are swelling with this type of attitude and have added funds to these programs for decades and show me just one that turned around. It's a perpetual nation of government help, that's awful. I'm betting most of you have never worked with or been exposed to some of the people you oh so want to help.

Since when is it a great qualification to be a regular person as President? This pick is crazy in so many ways.

Someone who is going to vote for Obama is making the choice to put him in charge. Someone who is voting for McCain wants to put him in charge. However, McCain is 72 with a couple hundred pages of medical history so that guy you couldn't vote for due to experience issues? You might just get that anyway.

| She is obviously putting on a smile for the public but I wonder just how butthurt Hilary is that the first woman of power in the white house is prob not going to be her heh. If Obama loses this and Palin gets in the White House I wonder if we get to see Hilary spiral into insanity. One can hope. |

| I see another problem with Palin. If McCain loses, Palin will be blamed. That would set women back. It is obvious that she was picked because she is a woman as a result of Hillary losing. I am glad you Republicans are happy because I am very happy. I think taking the "Experience Card" off the table was a big mistake for McCain. Obama picked Biden to make up for the "Experience Card". McCain just gave Obama a big gift. |
