| Proved: There is no climate crisis Major paper shows CO2’s effect on temperature was overstated 500-2000%. Quote:

| Christopher Monckton is a former journalist and current wingnut who is not certified as any sort of legitimate scientist or physicist, has had no formal training in any scientific field, and who has been at this sort of stuff for years now. He's also advocated concentration camps for AIDS patients, has been involved in various business scams and scandals, and is an all-around wackjob. He is basically the British equivalent of Pat Buchanan. Christopher Monckton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

Are his equations correct, though? I'm not discounting his lunacy, which you have pointed out, but if the math and science is good.... | |

| The guys article is in a newsletter for APS and is not a peer reviewed publication. He may be right or wrong, but when the first line in the above quoted article is so wrong it doesn't bode well for my interest. |

| If you believe that, then I feel sorry for you. Mainly because the proof has little to do with math and everything to do with LOOKING WITH YOUR EYES. Aside from the various mountain ranges and glaciers WORLD WIDE that are dissipating into nothingness theres also the fact of world wide storms of catastrophic proportions in a greater magnitude and quantity then ever before. Theres also the fact that all of this is rather recent as it was brought out upon by the industrial revolution which too is rather recent, making it very unlikely that it's mere coincidence. The fact that ozone layers are visibly diminishing specifically over highly industrial areas where CO2 emissions(among other things) are in extreme abundance is proof of the damage that HUMANS are doing. If he thinks it's just some random coincidence then every he and every other "scientist" who agrees are simply morons and should be banned from practicing science. CO2 isn't the only thing being released in the air so that study might as well be toilet paper. Like always, the logic and thoughts and conclusions are filled with gaping holes and various unanswered and unsought after questions. How about the damage done to our atmosphere which is in return allowing more UV and other sun/space related radiation to enter which then becomes trapped and spreads around the entire planet. I'm sure this could have something to do with drastic temperature fluctuations. | Climactic change happens all the time throughout Earth's history. Hell, there was an "Ice Age" that ended only 10,000 years ago, which is pretty recent on the Earth's time scale. There was a global warming to end that Ice Age. While we are undoubtedly polluting the Earth to some degree, this doomsday stuff about causing massive, irreversible damage to the environment is blown way out of proportion. |
