This is a message to all my Canadian brothers and sisters out there, Happy Canada Day! Despite having lived in Texas for the last year, I still celebrate the Canadian way, that is, drinking lots of beer and smoking lots of herb. Show your Canadian pride everyone!

You got fucked, we took Monday off as well and just made it into a 4 day weekend. Otherwise we'd have like 1/3 of our guys not show up on Monday anyway, and most jobsites are shut down as well. Shitty day for the holiday to end up on.

It was gorgeous in Alberta. I headed to the Nordegg area and camped near Lake Abraham near a stream and a big gravel field that had about a billion quads and dirt bikes on it. Great times, but a little on the hot side. Some people were working on some pretty wicked burns.

Lots do yes. I wasn't aware people of Puerto Rican heritage also did this. It tends to happen during hockey playoffs as well, with competitions to see who can put the most two dollar flags on their shitbox.

Some friends made some chilli cheese fry things that were wrapped in tinfoil and thrown in the campfire for awhile to cook. Not quite poutine, but looked similar and was fairly delicious.

Never had bagged milk though.
