If we had this law lets at least base it on body fat percentage instead of retarded shit like waistline, BMI, or weight.

Even when I was at 7% bodyfat I was still almost 40lbs over my "recommended" weight.

How will they enforce it though? Go through every working person in Japan and start handing out fines (Because why would an employer report a fat employee for a fine)? What about sumo wrestlers? There are a fair number of immigrants in Japans from other nations are far larger then your average Japanese person.. do they punish employers for hiring them?

This just sounds stupid, I call bullshit on the whole thing.

If your entire meal preparation involves a microwave then fast food is probably cheaper.

You'll find cooking at home is actually really expensive long-term.

Most people simply assume you'd have these anyways, but eating out is actually cheaper than eating in(like many forms of outsourcing).

Now *quality* is an entire different issue...

It all depends on what you are making at home, but I bet you can't make a cheeseburger even the size of a McDonald's double cheeseburger for $.99. There was a time when my normal dinner was 2 double cheeseburgers and 2 apple pies. Not healthy but it's hard to beat $3 for dinner at home unless you're eating top ramen.

Well, if you bought in bulk and prepared several days worth of food at a time you would come pretty damn close to a comparable price for the cheeseburgers. I guess I was thinking of like the value meals vs cooking a meal of your own, not necessarily replicating the value meal at home.
