+200 Internets | Not sure how you would sync to-do lists with an iPhone. I use MobileMe with all PC's and it works perfectly. Syncs everything between Outlook and iPhone.

| I have basically the same case except it comes with a screen protector you put on yourself that was free with my phone. Called Incipio, works great, they're only like $20 in the Apple store. Looks like its the same material and what not.

+13 Internets | I have a rubber/plastic gel case by Incipio that works great. I like the gel cases because I feel like the phone is going to fly from my hand at any moment without some sort of grippy surface on it. Only downside is everything sticks to the gel case and it's constantly covered in dust/thread/fuzz/etc.

| So are you guys have any success with converting avi's/various downloaded movies/shows into a format for the iphone using any free programs? I've spent the last few hours trying to get VLC to do it, and have had success getting files into itunes and even into the iphone, but then they won't play.

| Otterbox 'Defender' for iPhone 3G As soon as I saw one of these when we were at the MAC Store I knew I had to have one. I decided to have the MAC Store order me a black and yellow one since they only carry solid black and so that I didn't have to pay shipping from the manufacturer. It even showed up within 3 days. Comes with a pretty nice (although dorky imo) holster for it that doubles as a stand. Otter Box Defender for iPhone 3G - Fucking Ultimate iPhone Protection This case has 3 layers of protection, and none of your ports are left open, yet it still has full functionality either by pushing on the case, or by opening a silicone port cover. I've dropped my phone a couple of times already in the month that I've had it, and there isn't even a mark on my case, much less a problem with my phone. If you're going to spend $50 for an iPhone case, (it's not a bad idea when you consider that a replacement costs about $600), then this is the one to buy.

+200 Internets | I like the idea of all that protection, but it looks like it would take the thin and light iPhone and make it more like a brick.

Weight (case only): 1.9 oz. Dimensions: 4.87" x 2.77" x .8" Not sure what the Dimensions are on the iPhone by itself, but with the case on you don't notice the extra 2 oz. and it's still under 1 inch thick. Even at 8." this case is still MUCH thinner than my previous phone which was a Audiovox 7800 with an extended life battery that was so big that it pretty much meant it had to live in my cargo pockets or in my jacket. I'm fine with this in a normal front jeans pocket, or if you're "that kind of guy" it does come with the holster / belt-clip / stand. ![]() Edit: Besides... "technically" (lol) any case you add to your phone will make it somewhat thicker and heavier, or "more like a brick".

| I have had the iphone since the G3 came out and I love the phone but there are some probelms I was wondering if anyone here would have any ideas on. 1) I have posted this before but was wondering if an app came out yet that I have missed. Is there a way to make groups for texting?? I have a group of people that I text on a regular basis and you need to pick everyone out 1 by 1. Sometimes the little + that lets you add more people to the text is not there and I cant figure out how to get it back forcing me to send 10 individual text witht he same message. Plus I am always worried that I will miss one of them. Seems like there has to be an app for this out there. 2) Why cant an iphone send text pictures!! 3) Why to recieve a text picture do you have to put the codes in which is a huge pain in the ass. It would not be so bad if the code was something that you set up and is the same everytime but it is always some obscure #,letter combo. Anyway around this?? 4) Would be great if an application was available to watch Hulu on the phone. These are the applications I currently have. Please list any you have that I dont.
