+16 Internets | Nice to see a man take things into his hands and build something instead of paying for inferior goods. I hope your desk suits you as well as the desk I built for myself!

This means that any sort of screenwatching is obvious, and that to enjoy a movie together or television, or whatever is on the bigger screen - we simply have to either a) hop on the couch that'll be back aways from the desk 2) roll back a few inches and face it or lastly) rotate our heads 15 degrees. Not a big deal for anyone involved, really. | |

| I'm very impressed with that desk design. Its inspired me to build one of my own. I convinced my coworker to let me do it at his house, should be a fun time. I have some awesome plans for it and I'll post the results when I get to a good stopping point. Its seriously going to be grand ![]() |

| This is a good thread. Nice desk. We have just cheap Target desks upstairs. I'm on one side of the room, he's on the other. I can never get them set up where I actually like them. It's convenient since we are a tank/healer pair, but I have to admit the lack of privacy can be an issue when not gaming. I need my own space and that isn't an option at all in our current setup. There are 2 empty bedrooms downstairs, but then we'd probably have to use Vent just to talk to each other, and that is a little strange. Plus our upstairs is all sorts of cool.
