So there is this really old doctor (MD) where I work. He get's dressed up in a suit and carries a brief case and comes to the complex and just kind of walks around all day. He doesn't have any official duties, he was very successful in his practice and research and has donated greatly back to the institute. Really a very nice german guy, in the elevator the other day we were talking and he made this joke about how 'the elevator... it doesn't go down to the basement, that's for the future!' and I said something corny and smiled and we went on our way.

As sad as it seems, to me McCain is on that road. He seemed so perfect to me in 2000, but he just has that look and thought process of a guy who used to be great but couldn't escape time.
