+3 Internets | What about Florida led you to place it on that list of people who would follow Obama because looks too old? Was it their disenfranchisement at the hands of the democratic party or the 25% of their voting population that is of retirement age.

She wrote about the increased identification of Black Princeton graduates with Whites over Blacks. She clearly expresses disappointment at this trend and also highlights her distinctions along racial rather than class/economic boundaries. The part that should be rationalized is how Obama can claim to be a post-racial candidate when closely surrounded by racial-centric people. You are free to (irrationally) ignore it.

| Even retirees don't want to vote for someone who looks older then they do. And even though it's widely known for it's aged citizens, it not like the state doesn't have a large population under 65.

| "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." Im guessing alot of people feel slightly "fooled" by Bush and the republican party. After the most unpopular president in modern history spending shit tons of money and expanding gov't as a republican people are fed up. Sure maybe not the diehard neo-cons, but they wont matter this election. The middle of the road will, and the middle of the road will see a 70+ year old man with McSame as Bush ads running 24/7 vs a young new face. Its obama's race to lose and hes shown he can roll with the punches/teflon it up quite a bit.

| Usually, I couldn't care less about running mates. This time I do but only for McCain. (Obama, not so much.) Face it, the guy is old as fuck. I'm not saying he will die in office, but he would have a greater than average chance of dying in office. Therefore, his running mate will be a factor for me. If he decides to go the 'moderate' route and picks a lunatic to help shore up the fundie vote, this will matter to me. Who Obama picks is next to irrelevant for me. Although there is always that joke that he should pick a hispanic jew so that the KKK wouldn't dare assassinate him. |
