That doesn't seem like a great strategy for the same reason that the guilt by association attacks don't seem that great. Why throw spears if you live in a grass hut?

Whee.
It's not a landslide nor is it going to be one (too many factors against Obama, plus the country is too polarized). The attacks are desperate though, and not the right strategy for McCain. The crap he's going to bring up isn't even new. This is one of the benefits of Obama going through the mother of all primaries, everything about him came out then so most people know this crap already and they don't care.

If he has any hope, he needs to find a way to show that Obama is unprepared to be President, however that may be. There may not be a way, but resorting to just attacks on Obama's character, especially when the attacks he's pulling is what Hillary tried 8 months ago is not going to work, in fact it'll probably backfire on him.

It's stuff like this that makes me think that McCain either ain't too bright, has really bad judgment, or he's losing it because of his age. Any of these would explain the Palin pick.

2) The undeniable FACT that he has had relationships with both terrorists (Ayers) and organizations that are responsible for multiple instances of vote fraud (ACORN)?

McCain might not be Ronald Reagan or JFK but he sure the hell is a damn sight better American than Barack Obama. Obama has terrible friends and terrible judgment, he's done nothing but prove he'll say and do anything for votes. He's a 21st century snake oil salesman, and apparently he's got lots of willing customers...

Hmm so Keeting 5 dont come to mind? How about Palins WitchDoctor?

Listen the whole crap about Ayers is old as shit, and has been debunked by everyone and their mother..

McCain campaign is desperate, they are on the verge or maybe loosing this election by a land slide.

John McCain has been the one who has been eratic. His campaign has had no clue what to do the past month. From starting with the "Fundamentals of the economy are strong", to going to a crisis, to causing the bailout to fail initially at the house ect.

Like the new obama ad says, They are desperate and will try anything to change the subject from whats important(Economy) to mudslinging. That just goes to show who cares about the issues and who just wants to do anything possible to win an election.

Hell the mear fact that Rick Davis is McCains campaign manager, should show you that he will do anything to win an election. Davis is a deciple of Rove, the same man that destroyed McCain with one of the most vicious and untrue campaigns in recent history back in 2000.

Don't worry about it, just don't follow the news the next few weeks. Obama has pulled ahead so far in the key states that it would take a monumental rally that McCain simply does not have in him in order to win. Plus the ONLY thing rallying the "stupid redneck" portion of the conservative base was Palin, and now even those people are starting to realize they don't want that dumbass coming anywhere near the White House. It's over. Obama cruises, the right doesn't turn out, and we try again in four years with a real candidate.

The Republican hate machine is gassing up for a month of lies, distortion and cultural warfare. This is what the new republican party has contributed to our country in the last 8 years.....outright cultural warfare to secure the ignorant sheep vote.

Guess what? Unlike the past two elections...the Democrats are prepared to burn this motherfucker down too. This will be the nastiest, ugliest most hatred filled election in the history of this country.

Sarah Palin and her husband not only have Nazi connections, she is a subversive radical intent on destroying the United States, she is working directly for the oil industry, covered up a pregnancy for her daughter, is actively cheating on her husband, attended 4 different community colleges in order to get her bachelors degree from .... Idaho St. where she was a D and C student, just got her passport last year, met her first black person last month, wants more power that Dick Cheney as Vice President, is anti-women's rights and would make it a crime to have an abortion if a woman was raped and would 100% die if she continued with the pregnancy, believes in witchcraft, worships the devil, is the single dumbest human being ever to run for vice president or president of the United States or any other country in the entire history of organized civilization.

Her nomination has embarrassed our entire country and she is a disgrace to all rational human beings anywhere on the planet. Fuck you John McCain for even nominating her.

If the U.S survives this election we will all be lucky.

Awww isn't that precious. She's giving the middle finger to a kid wearing a football shirt. Republicans must hate the NFL by association.
