If Obama wins, DC will be the place to be. Party central. It will be impossible to park in Georgetown. If McCain/Palin win, Ronald Reagan Airport will have full flights out of the country. I am trying decide between France or Germany.

They don't accept many univited immigrants. Try Mexico or Somalia.

My point is there are enough clueless people, especially women, who are supporting her irregardless of her qualifications, her knowledge or her experience. It is because of this that unless she completely blows up (I mean say some pretty dumb shit), McCain is not going to take that big of a it after the debate.

I understand perfectly the mentality of the PEOPLE (not just women you sexist fuck im talking about the men like the rednecks in the video linked in this thread who are like "yay roadkill, guns and god!") who will vote for her no matter what.

The point is that you said that it will be limited to x, polls are showing the affect is x+y.

Keep up.

DC is never the place to be.

And if McCain/Palin wins, I'm going to demand evidence of your plane ticket out of here.

How was I being sexist saying women are supporting Palin more than men? I said people supporting her, especially women. Is that not true?

People will support her no matter what due to ideological divisions, and she will probably do just fine in the debate. But historically, even if she is a drag on the ticket, the VP debates haven't really affected the race.

That was my original point. I understand what polls say, but historically it hasn't really mattered.

51% now thinks she is unqualified to be President if something happens to the old man. If she fails tonight that percentage will go up to perhaps 60%. Although the VP selection typically has little effect on the election, I think that will have an impact. Biden could stand on his head and Obama will not be affected but McCain could be hurt if Palin comes across as clueless of just talks in a bunch of platitudes.

Even though she has spend the last month in "debate camp" I just do not see how this farce could do well tonight. I am sure the McCain campaign has prepared to blame Ifill as they blamed Gibson and Couric but it will not pass with the Independents. The Independents are much smarter than the Republicans which is not saying much but still true.

McCain is staying close because of the Hillary PUMA protest vote. If Palin is as pathetic as she appears, he may even lose that vote as women will be upset that such an idiot woman is representing them.
