So no, I don't think Palin, or Biden are qualified.
You can't even compare Palin and Biden. Biden taught constitutional law. Palin couldn't name a SCOTUS case other than Roe v Wade.

Biden may not be the best Presidential candidate (by the standard that few people, if any, are), but it wouldn't be a train wreck like a Palin administration.

Oh, we all know it happens on other bills. It's seeing it happen on this fucking abortion that is causing concern.

I guess it's an $800bn+ package now. Also, I think they're planning to temporarily lower the capital gains tax, which really makes sense: what better time to provide an incentive to sell stocks?

That alone would disqualify him. As if our politicians ever follow the constitution.

Oh I know that Congress is usually a joke, but I had kind of hoped that maybe when it really mattered they would actually do something right. I guess not.

You're just naive enough to be VP.

It could have been an opportunity now that pork is in place to vote no and look a bit more fiscally responsible.

McCain believes it's going to pass, so he can vote no and play it political.

He was probably going to vote the opposite of whatever Obama voted.

Well you cannot blame him from acting out of desperation. He'll do anything right now to win and this one happens to coincide well with the general populace and his pork position.
