| New York So I'm leaving for NY in about 22 hours and I've collected some information on sites to see or go to but thought maybe I could get some leet inside infoz on places that are easily missed but would be fun to go to. Other then museums, ground zero, the statue would be good, or even places to avoid.. like the Bronx at night(or altogether?). Thanks in advance! |

| Not so much a sight to see, but a general tip: Figure out what part of town you're staying in. Don't venture too far outside that part of town during rush hour, and especially not during changes in cab driver shifts. The last place you want to be in inclement weather is a long way from your hotel, watching cab drivers zoom past you with no intention of stopping to pick you up. |

| NYC is a monochromatic shithole. The only wonder of this city is the amount of concrete used to create this palace of depression. See a show, eat some unique food, and then GTFO before you realize you're paying 300+ a night for this special kind of torture. |

+1 Internets | Go to a Yankees game wearing a Red Sox jersey. You'll never have a more momentous evening! Bonus Points: Wear a 38 Studios hat and scream "Schilling owns you newbs!" after every Yankees strikeout. |

+18 Internets | Go see Spamalot. Monty Python's Spamalot - A Musical Now Playing on Broadway, in London, in Las Vegas, and on Tour If you wander in SoHo, try not to get too far into LES, as you will be shot, raped and buried in no particular order. Same goes for Brooklyn. |

| Don't feel bad Millie, NYC is a special form of hell. It's LA I don't get...Over priced real estate, traffic, and well, it looks just like a normal city. I figure if I worked 80 hours a week for the next 45 years, I could afford the house I already have here in Spokane working 30 hours a week on my own. I fully admit I don't have the mental capacity to understand how people enjoy LA. The only thing they have going for it is the weather, and honestly, I like a little variety. |
