| Pensacola Christian College So like most of the U.S. I was raised Christian and I have internalized its moral teachings and I think I'm a better person for it. We've seen that many people just take Christianity too far though. Some of these bible beaters even found colleges and manage to wrangle .edu domains. I introduce to you Pensacola Christian College: Pensacola Christian College :: Why Attend a Christian College It reads like a poor attempt at trolling, but it's just not. Quote:

+16 Internets | Someone call Kohl to this thread to start fagging it up with abiogenesis stat! Obviously Gauss is afraid that PCC will "cramp his style yo" and they provided their answer for it. Quote:
Another big part of being a Christian is to trust that God will provide for everything you 'need' and if you follow the path he wants you to, you'll do pretty well in your life. This is a realization of that philosophy. So, if God wants you to go to this college and you go to it, he'll take care of it. Usually through charity. Charity helps the giver and receiver so it's like two birds with one stone.

| Though the very idea of these instutions makes cringe at the thought I still have a few honest questions about them.. I generally think of advanced academinc instutitions as places where conventional thought and wisdom are rejected and advanced upon, advanced upon, or questioned heavily. With that in mind is that what happens as these Christian colleges? Do they really break down and get into the question of god on a more rudimentray level? Do they go into detail about the various stories of the bible and inconsistencys and truths? Do they raise questions and seek to raise more? Find answers and seek to find more? After 16 years of chuch i realized they weren't saying much different every year. In fact you generally don't learn much more after so many years. Is the chapel a place for constructive criticism and advancment or just reinforcment?

| Proud Communist | Christian colleges produce missionaries, ministers and other such things. Theology classes are probably heavily skewed, but may generally include honest intellectual debate on the issue... but probably not here. If you want that, you got to Yale/Harvard/Oxford Divinity. |

+11 Internets | Hahaha "making eye babies." So awesome. Every time I think religion can't become any more retarded than it already is it somehow finds a way to do just that. The way otherwise intelligent adults fall for this bullshit is simply amazing.
