+4 Internets | Vista help: Laptop ~> TV w/ svideo plugin I don't have a lot of experience with vista, bought a laptop with Vista on it and have just about no idea how to set it up to play movies on it through a TV. On a normal xp tower I believe you just go into desktop properties and select the TV through display options, but everything on vista appears to be an entirely new language to me, is it possible to do? Or does anyone using vista have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. pic for click |

| Most laptops have a function key to the bottom left you press in combination with another F key to switch to projector mode (ie your TV) and will output a duplicate signal to your seconday output. Fn - F6 on my Compaq laptop. Fn-F4 on my IBM laptop. There is probably a little picture or something for the F key you would use on yours. |
