| Photoshop pros? Help us noobs. A thread for us noobs and the photoshop gods that can help. My noob question: I want to edit photos of our motorcycles, meaning removing the background. What would be the best color to use to while shooting the pics to make editing a snap? Green, pink? Thanks Ps for other noobs, I found a fun tutorial on you tube, YouTube - You Suck at Photoshop #5 this is part 5 of the series, I really hope he makes more, because hes actually funny. Green is better because it has a higher lumen value and needs much less light. If you are shooting outdoors, a blue screen might also interfere with the sky. If your bike has any green in it, you CAN go with a blue screen, but you will lose some quality depending on your camera. Your biggest problem is going to be shadows and getting even lighting. If you have a slightly darker shade of green than you can Chroma-key out, you will have to do it manually. You can buy the paints at home depot or have them mix you a 255 green solution. | Thanks for the replies, as for a green screen is video / photos the same? YouTube - NEW How to make awesome green screen (Chroma key)!! part 1 Is a pretty cool green screen tutorial I just found. It's made for video and not photos though. For Camera: good lighting, no flash to eliminate shadows = win? Ps: Watch the You suck at photoshop tutorial I posted, part 2 is great. |
