+2 Internets | Crappy new keyboard So I bought this new wireless keyboard and it sucks. I can't circle strafe to the left with it cause it won't let me hit three buttons at once, and hitting the space bar while holding W and D or W and A does nothing. Are there ways to fix problems like this, or does this mean this keyboard is just a piece of crap that I should return?

| Clearly sounds like he is playing either WoW or an FPS. Bottom line is return it, especially if you are playing anything 'serious' i.e. league FPS or WoW arena because wireless can be very spotty.

+3 Internets | I used to have a wireless Logitech keyboard that was awesome. Great for WoW, Everquest and BF2. The only downfall on it was that it ate batteries. A few hours of playing Battlefield two and it was done for. Then you had to explain to the person in the gunner seat in the chopper you were flying why you flew straight intro the ground. |

| I don't get the point of wireless keyboards. It's not like you ever move these things from the position where you've placed them? And from my experience with wireless peripherals their range is pretty shit as well. |

+15 Internets | I got the logitech cordless mx duo (mx700 mouse, dunno keyboard model) and loved it, but I'll never buy wireless again. Things sometimes interfere with the signal of the keyboard and during FPS play I'll just get like 10 seconds of uncontrollable movement, and have no idea why. The mouse is also out of sync with the receiver and any time I want to charge it I have to resync them. These are my only complaints though and I've had the set for over 2 years. Very good mouse/keyboard but wireless just ain't my thing. Oh, and I think I've changed the keyboard battery 3 times in 2 years. |

+4 Internets | Yeah, my old mx700 set worked pretty darn well (still have the keyboard from the bundle). I got some new mx618 or something mouse and it sucks massively. I still use the keyboard despite it eating batteries because I'm on a sofa half the time i Use my computer with a 40 inch screen. It makes games amazing and 1920x1080p res is more then enough desktop space. Plus i had minor back issues before that have disappeared thanks to this setup. | Seriously, what is the point of wireless keyboards/mice? I won't lie, I like them for gaming systems, but I hate how they eat through batteries.

+2 Internets | Well I returned it for a full refund so it's all good, but I still need a replacement cause the cord on my keyboard is dying badly. Lots of kinks in it, so I have to have it in just the right position for it to work. I need something nice but I don't want to pay alot of money. Wireless or not doesn't really matter, only picked up the last one cause it was only $30. All I do on this computer is gaming, mind you. WoW, FPS, strategy, pretty much anything. I need a new keyboard that has a standard key layout, a couple media buttons (volume up and down essentially), can actually respond when you hit more then 2-3 keys at a time (think circle strafing in WoW without using the mouse, and then try to jump. That's up to 4 buttons at once.), and is a decent price. Also, new keyboard was completely silent when I typed and that actually kind of bugged me. I don't know why, but it did. :P

I got the logitech DiNoVO or whatever. Its bluetooth and sits probably 2-3 feet away from the USB adapter. THe charge with liberal use, last for about 2-3 months of constant use before I have to recharge it for several hours. Its light, slim, I and I use it for all walks of gaming. It works great and it has never cut connection or given me a delay before. It looks great and is very easy to clean off the grease from the gloss. The downside? Its expensive as shit.

However when I went to the electronics store and said I needed stronger batteries for it and they asked me how long they last I replied "Well I start gaming at 10am and by 8pm they're already empty" they fought really hard not to laugh ![]() | |

+14 Internets | Wireless shit fucking sucks. The only time I ever use wireless is for my media PC. Then it's invaluable. For gaming it sucks, because the more you use it the faster it drains, and if you forget to charge it one night? Yep, you can't game for 3-4 hours unless you have a backup wired mouse, which you begin to question why the fuck do I have a wireless mouse in the first place? |
